im not sure but i think u shouldve used the fertilizer since last week,im using horse manure compost its good, altho i started with normal soil with perlite and verm,i think coco is more for hydro rather than soil..gud luck

They could probably use a light feeding. I wouldn't change the lights to hps until you plan to change the light cycle to 12/12 and begin to flower. With that many plants and 1 light you should probably start soon. That's a ton of plants for 1 400w light! the will probably at get about 2 times larger through the flower cycle.

Are your seeds feminized? If not you will lose ~25-75% to male plants. That would free up some space.
You can use as much light as you can fit in your area without burning the plants from heat. So yes you can add fluorescent lights because those run very cool. Also you can flower under MH but you get better results if you use HPS or a mix of HPS/MH/CFL etc.
Coco is a fine amendment for soil, it will add water retention and many other benefits that come with coco, but those benefits are more noticeable when it's the only medium, at which point it would be a hydro medium.
Seedlings don't need ferts for the first 1-3wks depending on what is in your 'regular soil'. When you do start feeding, start at 1/4 strength then move up slowly.
You won't be able to see the sex for at least a couple weeks about
phrostbyte has great pics of what pre-flowers look like in his log.
Oh, and 18/6 is just fine for veg and will save you a little extra.

75% is a little extreme but 50% is average. I have always had about 40% males when using un-femed seeds.
Bagseed is more unpredictable. You don't know what created the seeds, whether it's stray male pollen or hermi pollen, what strain it came from etc. You can get fantastic genes from bagseed but you are almost guaranteed good genes if you order legit strains.

Nice, they mostly look very healthy. remember they will stretch when flowered. I would LST them now and let them fill in over the next 2 weeks and then flip to 12/12.
Stickey thread in the Cultivation forum about training methods like LST
Barring any sort of catastrophic event, I would guess, VERY CONSERVATIVELY, after pulling, lets say, 50% males, you could harvest 1.5-5oz dry. But it's very hard to say at this stage. Most of those small ones will just barely be mature enough to flower, so you would only expect 3-10g depending on strain and exact size. The larger ones I would expect 5-20g.
If your space is filled in and not too far from the light, you can expect between .25 to .75 grams per watt of light used. Really awesome setups reach 1gpw and more. With just a single 400w HPS that would be between 100 and 300 grams, or about 3.5 to 10 ounces of dried buds.
Canopy density, overall health and stress levels, light amount and penetration, airflow, proper nutrients, forming seeds, and of course genetics will all have an effect on yield.

Oh ok, I thought you replaced the MH with HPS. That should improve things as long as there is the plant matter to take advantage of the extra light.
Air cooled reflector hoods and large expensive in-line fans, coupled with air conditioning the grow space, keep temps down pretty well. Right now, I use one (760cfm)fan on 3 1000w hoods and use cold air from outside, drawn through ducting and the hoods, along with lots of internal airflow, to cool my op. I happen to be pumping the nice fresh warm air into my house, but only because it's winter. In the summer I run that duct out the window and also require extra AC, pumped into the room via the central air, to keep the room cool. Check out my current log to see how close my plants are (most buds are 11-18in from the middle of the glass on the reflectors).
I do something mostly like the 3 pics halfway down this post on younger plants. Just bending the tops to encourage bushy growth is the goal.
Do a search for temps in the cultivation forums and you should find lots of good info.

Hey, looks good man!
Is that also 23 days in 12/12?
If so, you have at least another 30 days to go. Most strains will treat you well at 8-9 weeks of 12/12.
Minimum yield, lets say, .3 grams per watt, means 285g which is about 10 ounces.
Maximum, probably .75 gpw, means about 25 ounces.
Pretty big range, I know, but it's hard to tell with just pics, not being able to feel the buds. Try to make sure as many bud sites as possible are in the brightest light you can manage, tuck fan leaves under buds to get more light to them.
Also, they will get MUCH MUCH MUCH better and thicker and frostier and heavier over the next 3-4 weeks, BE PATIENT! Under 400w lights you can expect colas to be 4-8 inches of solid bud at the tips of the plants.

I've always wanted to do that, hawk!
I chose to hang a vertical bare MH in my plants, but they're around 5' and taller.
Hanging CFL's can be a good way to go as well, less heat.

And way less power consumption. Great way to increase light to the lower buds. Another cheap easy way is to hang white poster board to reflect the light to the side of your plants.
