it's by they might be giants... if the video was produced by or for them, it probably wasn't a subliminal message. just a message.

They Might Be Giants rule. (yeah, they made a kids album... as you can hear it's actually stupidly good for music made for kids.)

funny, i was gonna bump this today too.

i love this song... and yes... i found the subliminal...

it's more in the song then anything but OP is right to be aware of the owl replacing the boy... it means something... when that scene comes up, you can hear a sample of OWLS HOOTING and then once more in the next segue.
