Have any of you hippies ever been there for any of their events? Its really not that far of a drive for me and I'm considering going some time.
I really wanted to go for new years, but I couldn't find anyone else who'd go with me.
I'm a relatively normal dude, not so much a super hippie so I dunno how welcome I'd be there.

Yeah its like a 3 hour drive or so.
I could convince my friends to go when they're having parties or whatever, but probably not to just stop in and check it out.
They have DJs and laser shows and shit...looks so dope. $70 is a lot for a ticket though. I know my friends would probably go for like $30 maybe, but $70...nope.
Probably find some good Lucy at that kinda shit.

I have a bad feeling about ALex Greys personal life. Great artist though.

why do you say that? He's always seemed like a kind, nurturing soul to me. saw him a couple weeks ago at the maps conference. a trip to cosm would be a load of fun. you should do it.

I cant find them on the internet. The dead body fucking one was inside the cover for the Opiate album from tool. The pentagram in the Lateralus album from Tool.

Opiate came out in 92 so I don't follow that logic.

It's totally worth it, IMO no other psychedelic artist compares to AG

oh man, have you seen the work of geo atherton, or amanda sage, or luke brown, or chris dyer? All of those artists are amazing. I would say they def. 'compare' (if not transcend) the work of alex grey's. and i say that as a pretty devote ag fan.

Oh my god. What a trip. That movie was life changing. Some parts were really hard to get through, but this got me back on the right path in my life. I have been dealing with a lot of depression and internal problems and I remembered to expand my consciousness and so many other things that I can't put into words. Holy shit. I got put on SSRI medication but I realized that I am just putting a band-aid on a self-inflicted wound. I have to realize that I can heal myself from within.
I wrote down some thoughts that I had from the movie. If anybody is on the same wavelength I'd love to share them.
