Using a Coleman camping lanturn for co2?

Was wondering if running a camping lanturn, hung from the ceiling in a 5x5 grow tent ,during the day cycle, for co2, would be a good idea....the tent has A/C installed.....Seems alot cheaper then tanks and actual co2 propane generators...

Honestly it wouldn't make enough CO2 to make a difference.

Co2 wouldnt build up in a a/c cooled sealed tent? My ac unit is a portable duel hose setup. it doesnt suck out inside air.

I guess no one really knows....I was going to get a co2 meter as well as a CO alarm anyway...guess I will just have to do some tests...I dont know where to get co2 tanks filled and lugging that thing in and out of my house every week is something im trying to avoid. I can pick up propane cheap and easy at walmart and its not weird and awkward to be seen with...just your basic propane tanks....The ac I have dehumidifies the air as it cools so the humidly from burning propane shouldn't be a problem.I think it might work. A co2 generator is basically a natural gas or propane flame....right? so a lantern or camp stove should do the same thing? I may be wrong but it seems to make sense to me.....

I think there is much safer affordable methods of increasing c02 in your tent. Look into the beer yeast method. A friend told me he got consistant readings while letting some activated beer yeast chill inside of something. I'm sure someone knows what i'm talking about on here. Anyone?

there are also co2 tablets you can buy in many grow stores, just put them into a bucket of water and they dissolve releasing co2..Nvr used them myself but i have herd they work well in tents/small grow areas. just remember when you use co2 its best to keep the fans off until u want to vent it all out.
