I "judge" people in the manner that I observe that if I were some people I would not be enjoying my life the way they are leading it; or in many cases the way they are leading their lives towards.
Honestly I'm about 80% all about the medium-long term plans. I look at life like a chess game honestly (chess nerd for life): just make sure all your moves advance you to where you want to be down the road. Not trying to tell you what road you want to go down, that is subjective, but knowing where you want to end up is pretty important.
Honestly if I could do it all over again the main thing I would do is show more restraint with video games, and do better in highschool (sleep less, fight less, mouth off to my teachers less). But oh well, no use regretting already made moves. I've already regained the ground lost from that course of action.

I think it comes down to ignorance, and tolerance for one anothers lifestyle choices.
