The Official Ikariam Thread *Sigma Server Open*

I am sure some of you guys remember the game Ikariam that I play and that several of us were playing when this site first opened.

Anyways, Ikariam has since launched a new server about a month ago and I am looking to form a faction for our forum.

I am currently part of the #3 overall alliance, so the Growery wing would be a sub-group of one of the most powerful groups in the entire game

Here is a link to register and if you use this link, it will start you off near my main islands making it easier for us to help each other

For those of you who do not know about Ikariam, it is just a simple time-based web browser game. It is a lot like all nation building games in that you have towns on various islands, build a military, form alliances, join groups, ect ect....

It's definitely not a game for everyone. If you need something fast-paced, then this is not for you. This is the kind of game that you can check-in one or two times a day for 5 minutes and be able to handle most things (unless you are in a war or something)

Anyways, thought I would share

Anyone who has any questions, feel free to post them up here

Basically but it is browser based and has a massive multiplayer community...

you get gold from income.. aka you lose it when you research and collect resources...

research is very important at the beginning

yeah it has been having problems these last couple hours

was that you who just registered?

not a lot has changed honestly.. there is a new patch coming soon that will change some things, mainly expand military units.

what resource did you get to start?

That is pretty legit. You will at least be able to expand to a wine as your 2nd

Sulphur is nice in the beginning because you can quickly build up a military
