it depends on new jersey's laws. Every state is slightly different. Not that this really helps, but i know any mmj patient (with a qualifying condition under Maines state laws) can come to maine (where i live) and visit a dispensary. I can't quite recall exactly how it works, but the patient must contact their doctor (months in advance) and then have information faxed to the mmj friendly state they are visiting.
Just call up the department responsible for regulating the laws and what not out in jersey.
