Hi Growery! I guess I'm not really a new member as I have lurked here off and on for a few, but I haven't really posted much here till now.
Some of yall might know me from the Shroomery. I used to post quite a bit in the Pub over there.
Anyways, just kinda getting more accquainted with the site here as I have decided I'm gonna get my first grow going here soon. I decided it's ludicrous that I live in a state where I can grow 20 plants and I'm not growing any! Just gotta go get my medical card.
Thinking I'm just gonna get a couple plants going in my closet for now, but I'm thinking I could expand up into my attic. I live in a house and my landlord won't ever have any reason to go up into the attic, and as long as my documentation is in order nobody but the feds would be able to bother me.
I guess I'm just excited and had to talk about it, and just wanted to say hi cuz yall will be seeing me around these parts a lot more frequently. Just don't be as much of a dick to me as I have been to some of the noobs at the Shroomery LOL.
Thanks for the warm welcome yall. I'm pretty excited about getting a grow going. I'm afraid I'll have to wait till I get back from Thailand though since i'm leaving in the beginning of January, I dont' think I'd have time to get my card, get set up, and grow a crop by then. Guess I'll just have to work on the first 2 for now.
The growing part isn't too daunting as I've been working with ornamental and edible plants in garden centers for the last 10 yrs, and have successfully grown magic mushrooms several times. The setup part is the more daunting for me. Especially figuring out ventilation and all. I've got a good friend who has been growing for a while and helping set up rooms for longer. He's an electrician too, so it shouldn't be too hard.
