I'm highly skeptical. They tricked before with a SW MMO when I was a lad.

It is hard for me to get excited about MMO's these days.

You get Bronze or Silver, and the company will be releasing patches and updates, nerfs and fixes, etc. If it can get through that stage without becoming a worse game, then it is gold.

I'm gonna play Diablo 3 first because Blizzard > EA when it comes to MMO development.

I'll be getting it like 6 or 8 months later. It's just like Dungeness said, if you don't mind dealing with glitches and all the bs that comes along with a new release mmo. Then all the power to ya.

But yeah I'm really looking forward to this though. Since I passed on galaxies years ago.

I am not too worried about bugs and glitches. They have been doing a shitton of testing and what not. I am sure there will still be some but we'll see

This next weekend should give us a decent idea of what to expect

You have the game client installed? It's about 13GB so if you dont have it done and want to play when the server opens up at 10am on Friday then I would probably download it tomorrow

Everything I was hoping for and more. They put a lot of really nice features in there, like how after you kill someone it's blue for regular loot, green if they have a bind-able item, and yellow for quest items. Saves a bit of time.

Ive made 4 characters to see what I liked best. I have to say I am loving my Trooper. Bounty Hunter is 2nd.

What character are you?

You should join up on my server I am on the Ziost one as a Trooper. I am only 2-3 hours into it

I wish I could keep my character after Beta, she is soo badass. The sticky grenade is fuckin awesome

I choose the sith inquisitor class as a pure blood. Then later choose the extra class of sith Sorcerer. I played all night till 7 am so I guess I put in about 16 hours total so far and have managed to get to level 15.

It honestly feels like kotor but on a grander scale imo. The companion I got at least for me is pretty cool.

He's a damn tank btw and was buds with Tulak Hord :shocked:

The quest lines are fantastic, especially the main for my class.

Your character having their own voice makes such a difference to the overall experience!! That's my only complaint with skyrim. I wish all rpg orientated games would follow this, just adds to the immersion.

This will definitely be the first mmo I ever pay for monthly. Finally the mmo I've been waiting for has arrived :smile:

I agree about the storylines and the quests. Fucking brillant. Not lame and faggy like WoW where you go around killing animals and shit and looting retarded items. You can see why it was in development for soo long. Epicly done.

I just got home, I am going to over to the inet cafe here in a minute to nerd it up.

I am in love with my Twi'lek Trooper. Soo much fun. She get's Wraith as a companion

The bounty hunter is dope and gets Mako. Mako is the hawtest character in the game

Kinetic damage is done by the basic physical attacks like melee weapon attacks and what not

Elemental damage is dealt by abilities such as damage over time types and aren't necessarily used through a physical weapon I think like force powers. Not 100% sure, since I didn't get to play with any of the other classes

That makes sense. It seemed like only certain types of damage affected certain opponents too sometimes

Like elemental damage wasnt working on droids it didnt seem

I was about to smash my fucking computer when I saw that even after spending 70$ on the game, you still have to set up a subscription plan in order to even start playing the game and download the client. On the positive side of that, at least they dont bill you for it right away and they also accept Paypal

Pretty lame though. I thought after buying the game with the free 30 days they would at least let u play for the free time first. Fucking greed.

Well I knew it cost 15$ bucks a month, I just didnt realize they were going to make you pay for essentially 2 months of play before you could even install the game. It's been 2 hours and I havent been able to even start playing yet. Weak.

Should be worth it though, it was really the only thing I wanted for Christmas. That and the new Jordans
