If I were to get a dog, it'd be an Irish Wolfhound. Back in the day, they could take on lions. Fuck lap dogs though.

Pitbulls do have a natural tendency to be overly aggressive/defensive, however. They have been bred like this for hundreds of years, it takes a lot of nurture to change that...
