this guy! Papa johns hired me for full time in store, they even gave me more that minimum wage because i have cook/shift leader experiance at pizza slut. I'm fucking pumped, step II for getting shit back on track: enroll my ass in college.

Yea, Monday is my first day. Honestly it seems a lot easier than pizza hut was. Everything gets measured out, so I can't worry about messing up when doing veggies/bacon.
Slapping the dough and doing everything by hand with it will be new though, at pizza hut you just stretched the dough. But almost no dishes means I don't have to wash pan lids for like 30 minutes every shift, the only thing i don't like is no rocker blade.

The cut tables at the hut were boss. So much fun on really busy nights.

Man I used to work cut table and make table at the hut on busy nights when i was the only cook. We would have 2 peels on cut because a manager would be watching it and the second she got backed up i had to jump over there, get her caught up, and then jump back to make to back the ovens up again.
So much fucking caffeine. I used to drink like 4 Full Throttle: Fury's a night. My poor kidneys.
And that's what happens when you have a manager so shitty she gets all the managers, all but one cook, and most drivers fired.

Energy drink runs to the store were fun. Then everyone just started keeping liquor stashed in the deep freezer to get us through the night.
Cut table was my domain even though I was head cook for over a year. Good times.

The only other cook that was their for any length of time lived down the street from me and stashed a 40 in his car that he drank off of on breaks.
About 1/2 of our drives smoked weed out of "zepplin" pipes... and one of them used to sell weed to co-workers during his shift. I never bought from him because i heard he shorted back then, but then again I didn't have much time to smoke back then. I used to make more $ than my assistant managers because of how many HR's overtime i used to get there. I think my record was like 54 hrs one week. I still don't get how i did that while still going to school... I think that huge week I was on winter break or something.
It's cool to know someone else has worked at pizza slut as a head cook. Apparently popa johns ovens cook in <6 minutes, and their driver station can print out directions using map-quest.

Well, slight update. Found out about schedule, I'm working alot during the day so I won't have much time at least this week to post because I go to the library for the net. Good news even if i'm getting worked like a slave I'll be getting cable this holiday season so I'll be posting again soon.
I might post from my phone on breaks.
Maybe I should invest in a new smart-phone like an android; I can have spending money now.

I delivered pizzas at a papa jahns for a short time before acquiring my current jab. Not really a whole lot to it. I definitely prefer working for a local privately owned pizza place a lot more though. No uniform, much more flexible hours, no corporate bureaucracy, and a just a much more family-like environment. Not to mention much higher quality food to pilfer.
