In order to grow good weed you need to be part carpenter, electrician, plumber, biologist, geneticist, chemist, and very willing to get dirty.

I've been working with power tools since I was 8, my dad is an electrical engineer who owned a 280 gal fish tank, and I studied biology with a specialty in genetics. Getting dirty comes naturally. I think my parents inadvertently trained me to be a weed grower.

Watered today RO pH 6.0-6.5 with a 1/4 tsp of epsom salt

I will get a pic up of my lights this weekend.

Pic 1 "righty" has been pushed a bit too far... Not to worried about it.
Last week, the home stretch. I will water tomorrow, no more food, and then flush in 3-4 days after that.

Where did you get your screen from? And how much if you don't mind me asking. I might give it a try on my grow

Yes 4 ladies. All of the top flowers you see are 3+ inches in length. The SCROG is a no brainer for my situation, which is only having 6 sq. feet and 3.5 ft of height.

I made the screen out of normal wall screw hooks and twine. I screwed about 20-25 of these in the inside of my cab. They are all the same height off the ground and spaced 6 inches apart. I then wind the twine through the hooks over and over until I have a nice web.

This is not a full view but you get the idea. There are six 68 watt CFL's lined up side by side for about 3.5 feet. I built a air cooled hood and reflector for them. The bulbs stick out off the wall about 1 ft. to put things into perspective.

Thats baically how I intend to make the screen. Its going to be a PVC frame with twine wrapped around to make a net.

I know I don't post much but I I've been keeping up with your grows since late last year. And I must say thanks man for documenting everything. It's amazing what cfls can do despite how superior hps and hids are. Anyways awesome stuff, cant wait for a smoke report!! I'm really curious to see what your final yield will be. Maybe 200+ grams dry :yesnod:

While i have nvr grown using CFL's, i do know from friends that you can grow just as potent bud with them and yields are only 10-25% lower. Obviously the yield depends on the amount of lighting you have and if their in the correct spectrum. I would bet if you had enough CFL's to match a HID'S lumen and spectrum's you would get the similar results.

200+ would be ridiculous. I would be super happy with 150 grams. Sadly my pessimistic views are leading me to believe that I will not pass my last mark due to a very unhappy plant in it's last week.

That being said, here are some close ups... keeping my eye on those trichs.

These ladies are coming down on Sunday. Enjoy the final pics until harvest. The plants have received 2 consecutive straight waterings and then a flush last night. Righty has just about used up all of her fan leaves. Lefty is doing well.
