This sounds great to me...would it allow me to make hard candy? Thats one thing I've always really really wanted to do.
So if 4g = 1g, how much do you use in your 16oz of glycerine? I don't want to under-do it and waste my time and effort.
I'd probably just use trim though, I assume that works?

Bumping this because I'm gonna try it soon. I have a third of a pint jar, about half trim half avb. I'll be doing it very similarly to this, minus the coffee warmer since I don't have one. I'll probably let it sit til almost st Patrick's day and give it a test. A buddy of mine will be here and I'd love to trick him by giving him some sports drink lol.
(He will be fine with it, I just wanna surprise him)
will report in with results and final amounts. I still need to order the glycerine so ill have more avb by then.

Ordered 4 oz for $6 or so on eBay. Something about how they measure it by weight not volume...if its not enough ill fit as much as I can in the amount I get. I'll post weights and volumes and whathaveyou as well as whatever I do with it. Probably warm it a bit.

Ya I found some USB ones for like $5 on eBay.
I'll probably let it sit for a while and buy one eventually. It's not something I need to have immediately.

OK, my glycerin just came in the mail. $4.48 from the internets for 4 oz by weight. I used every drop of it to fill this jar, and it barely filled above my herb lol. There is about 9g in the jar, various vaped bud and trim. I found a really gnarly looking joint I rolled when I was drunk and broke the paper off, and theres some shake too so its decent quality stuff in the jar. Smokeable for sure.
Its kinda like a really thick cake mix. I'm gonna let this chill for a few days, I'll be getting one of those coffee warmers soon, I'm waiting for that in the mail too.
Kinda just documenting this for myself, but I figured I'd share as well. I'll update as I remember/see fit.
Gonna let it go until 4/20 probably, with a test in between. Since I know the starting weight of the glycerin, I can take educated guesses as to dosage by weight when its finished.
Thats a half pint jar btw. Kinda tough to tell without any scale items.
Edit: I filled the bottle up with water about to where the glycerin was, and it looks like it was about 3oz by volume to begin with. I think ill buy some of those half oz dropper bottles from eBay to store it in when I'm done.

Lol so I still don't have my coffee warmer. I put it on the stove on low in a pan full of water for about an hour today and a few hours yesterday.
I scraped the sides with a spoon because it has a lot of plant material stuck on the sides. The spoon had a bit of it left and I pushed it off woth my finger. I licked a tiny bit of it off my hand and I'm definitely high already from it. I haven't smoked today.
It's gonna be awesome by 4/20.

Update, I put 2 drops of this stuff on my sore wisdom tooth and it fixed it immediately for the last 3 hours.
That said, I'll be straining this sometime soon. I have to find some cheese cloth first. Its mostly plant material, so its gonna need a really good squeeze. Maybe a rolling pin is in order...

Alright! I strained this this morning!  Exactly one month later (I didn't plan it that way, it just worked out).
I got some cheesecloth, but I had to scoop the shit out of the jar. It just wasn't runny anymore, I used way too much bud. It was warm, but I scooped it out into the cheesecloth and had to squeeze like the fucking hulk to get any shit out of it. I wish I had a coffee press or something because I lost quite a bit of material.
So I squeezed and squeezed, and ripped the cloth a tiny bit. Just a few miniscule particles escaped. I squeezed some more and gave up. I got about 1.5 to 1.8 oz return from my original 3 oz. Not too bad, but if I do this again I'll make sure I'm more efficient.
Just dropped about .5ml or 12 drops from my dropper into my orange juice. Completely empty stomach. I have that feeling you get when you first eat mushrooms and they are starting to digest. That heavy "omg" feeling haha. My face is actually becoming a little numb as I type and my forehead has a tingly sensation to it.
The drops seemed to sink right to the bottom of my juice despite my stirring. I think it'd be best to dissolve them into something hot, or drop them into a bottle that can be shaken up.
Will report back, but I'm definitely already feeling kinda high from it haha.
