 5x5x7 1000w Dual Arc tent grow

Just started some AK47 femmed seeds to use as mothers. As you can see the moms are in pots using a 50/50 peatmoss and perlite soilless mix.
I'm using the following equipment:
5x5x7 Secret Jardin tent
1000W Dual Arc bulb/ballast (400mh and 600hps in one bulb)
CoolStar plus air cooled reflector
6' Canfan & Carbon filter
18 site Hydro table from BC northerlights(not shown)http://www.bcnorthernlights.com/grow-kits/hydro18-table
3 part micro/grow/bloom from Advanced nutes, BudCandy and bigbud for flowering.
I vent out my window aswell as draw cool air in through 6' ducting. My temps where still up there, 29c, so i added a coolmist humidifier to the tent and it brought it down to 27c which is just right.
I won't update this thread for another 4-5 weeks, until i clone from the moms, so till then Happy growing!

lol wish i didn't have too either! Changed from micro/grow/bloom to sensi bloom A+B as base nutes for flowering, ends up being slightly cheaper than the 3 part, still from advanced nutes. Also i bought a miystic cloner from stealth hydroponics....after getting the thing i kick myself for not just making one lol, though it was only $68 on sale, but all it is is a 5 gallon tub with a misting unit in the bottom, and ofcourse 18 2inch holes in the lid for 2' pucks, no sprayers just a misting bubbler in the res, if it works well i know i can make one the same for about $25... check these pics...
gotta be the cheapest way to make a cloner i've ever seen   lol

I seem to have run into a small problem, two of my plants are drooping for no apparent reason, yesterday they looked fine, their not thirsty as i watered them with plain water at 6.5 PH. Yet this morning 2 of them do not look happy at all  Anyone know if cold air could cause this? the ambient temp i n my tent is 24-28c but last night the temp outside dropped to -4c so the air intake was cold, but the tents temp nvr dropped below 24c. I was thinking since the cold air comes in from the bottom of the tent could it have just chilled these 2 plants closest to the intake? as the third plant seems to be ok at this point... anyways check the pics and let me know your thoughts.

Well after 6 hrs of the light being off the dang plants are fine again, lol weird, think i might have over watered them, luckily it was just PH balanced water with no nutes, so i guess they just needed some sleep to recover lol Sooo all is good in the world again....atleast my lil corner

Well thought i would do a quick update with a few pics...its coming along nicely, gonna be 2 or 3 weeks b4 i can clone the 18 i need to fill my table though. Decided to run the lights 24/7 till then..

thought i would do an update. I took 14 clones from my 3 plants, though right now it looks like 2 or 3 might not make it, time will tell, its my first time using a cloneing machine rather than rockwool and a dome. I also hung my 250w MH in the tent till the clones are ready as it produces little heat compared to the big 1000w, since the clones don't like it too hot.

I also decided to buy a different cloner, one with a proper manifold and misters that does 36 clones at a time. Will share pics of it when it arrives. I plan on flowering the 2 smaller plants out of the three i took clones from, the largest and healthiest one i am putting under my 250w MH to keep vedging for clones until my Orange Bud moms are ready to give babies. Though no pics of my OB plants as my friend is seeding them and sexing out moms for me.

Just thought i'd post a couple pics of the new aerocloner i got the other day, moved my clones into it today. 1/2 of the clones are now showing root growth. I also took 2 more clones from my #1 plant and added them into the new machine, wanna see if they root any faster than they did in my mist cloner...

Thought i would so a small pic update of my clones....
I'm going to transplant the clones into the system tomorrow, here's a couple pics of the clones and root systems....
Top of clones....a few have actually grown about 3 inches since i put them in.
The root systems...as you can see most of the ones i had in my myst cloner have large root systems, and since switching to the aerocloner the clones have rooted faster, out the clones i cut 10 days ago most are showing good root development, enough that i can now fill my 18 site table, and put the rest in pots...
I'll do a larger update in a few days after i transplant.

Hi guys well today i transplanted 18 of my clones into my table, i still have 4 clones in the cloner that i will be putting into pots on the weekend. Plus the 3 moms and 2 auto lowryder plants currently in pots. I will have to vedge for about 10 days it looks like, don't want to switch to flower until all the plants root systems have reached the res, as it stands 12 of them have atleast 1 root touching the res, the rest are just out of the bottom of the net pots. Sorry for only a couple pics this update, but my camera's batterys died and the 1000w plays havoc with my phones camera(lots of black bars in the pics) so just the two pics till next update..
Oh and i am using AN micro/grow/bloom 3 part to vedge with, used 1/3 the recommended nutes in the res, roughly 300ppm in 10 gallons of water in the table, Ph'ed to 5.5

Hi guys, I'm am switching to flower tomorrow, it it will mean i vedged for 9 days. the tallest plant is 8 inches and the smallest is 3.5 inches, but average height is 4 inches. This grow is basically to test fastest turn around time and yield for my table. I'm not expecting a large yield, but the quality will be there as always
Heres the left side of my Table, don't mind the color diff, its cuz of my camera. All the plants are actually the same shade of green.

As you can see the plants took to the table well, though you will notice in my following photos a few plants have white tips.. i'm still not sure why, as its only a couple of them, the rest look fine. the PPM is at 300 till i change it tomorrow, so i think it has to do with the existing dissolved solids in my tap water...I'm buying a table top RO unit next month, so i'm hoping it will solve my probs.
My feed tomorrow will be %30 the reccomended amount(due to average plant size) of Sensi Bloom A+B, as well as budcandy and Piranha. The big bud gets added week 2-5, piranha just the first 2 weeks and Bud Candy week 1-6
I am scheduling a 7 week flower, but we'll see how things go.

Hi guys, well i took some pics of the tent today, hope you enjoy! 
Left side of the table. all the plants are doing well, Though i still have a small white tip problem...its can't be nute burn as the ppm last feed was only 360 ppm. Still it doesn't seem to affect growth, but it still bugs me...

The Auto flower plants, they haven't seemed to grow too much, honestly apart from the fact they flower despite the light cycle i'm not too impressed....
My mother plants, i was going to keep one in vege but since my OB's are now sexed(got 2 fems out of 5 seeded) i don't need to use a femmed AK47 for clones for my next batch so all 3 are being flowered with the table..
you may noticed this one is on its side, well i squashed it by mistake last week and obviously broke some supporting roots, still it recovered quickly but i didn't bother staking it up and just left it as is...still shes doing great!
PPM this feed is at 487, will increase nutes another 15% next feed. Everythings looking good at this point. started to add the bid bud this week, last feed with piranha today though, which is good as that shits freekn costly...

Hi guys, its Friday here so that means water change and a Update! so this time i bumped up my nutes to 65% the recommended amount, here's the break down:
89ml of Bloom A+B
45ml Voodoo Juice
45ml Big Bud
45ml Bud Candy
10grams of Piranha
ppm is at 766 in 9.5 gallons of water.

Mothers, i trimmed off all the fan leaves on two of them but got lazy with the third. I also gave the plants in the table a major trimming, though that was on Monday so its kinda hard to tell now..

Everything is going great, still have a few white tips but the voodoo juice seems to have cured this prob on the majority of the plants.

day 21 of flower....
Another Friday, So another Update! i bumped up my nutes to 85% this week, here's the break down...
122ml each of Sensi Bloom A and B
61ml of Big Bud
61ml of Bud Candy
discontinued voodoo juice and Piranha as they are no longer needed.
PPM is at 980 in 10 Gallons of water.
Full table shot, plants are looking real nice, i trimmed off the Top fan leaves yesterday so more light will reach the smaller flowers.

Moms...oh and i forgot to mention that the plants in pots are being fed using technaflora nutes, just the regular bloom formula with no additives. As these plants where much more mature when flowering started they seem to be about 5 days ahead of the table in flower development. Which is to be expected...
 
 
The Autos...honestly i don't think they have grown much at all, they are eating up their feed quick, but i don't see much growth or much of anything really...though i must say they smell awesome!
  
I didn't have enough space available to upload the pics of the third mom and more close up bud shots, so i'll do that over the next few days.

Day 35 of flower..
Another Friday, another update!
I got a little nute burn on some fan leaf tips so i reduced the nute amount back to 90%, discontinued big bud this week, so all thats gone in is Bloom A+B and Bud Candy. I originally was going for a 7 week flower, but since i flowered the plants so small its obviously going to be close to 8 weeks. Though the plants in pots look like they will finish about 4 or 5 days ahead of the table...anywho heres the nute break down...
122ml of Sensi Bloom A and B
60ml of Bud Candy
PPM is at 878 in 9.5 gallons of water PHed to 5.5

My camera's batterys died halfway through me taking pics, plus i noticed a resign smudge on my lens from doing macro shots lol so sorry about less pics and the lil amount of blur. Plus i'm gonna be lazy and just post all pics with no space in between them...
I added 4 OB clones and a topped OB mom i was vedging into the flower tent, i have 3 more clones in vedge and 3 femmed seedlings to add to the tent when they are big enough. sorry no pics of my vedge area. The OB mom has actually been in the tent 2 weeks, the 4 clones went in yesterday.
anyways enjoy the pics! i start flushing for a week in 3-6 days.

Hey guys, sorry i have not updated this thread in awhile, but the 420 forum is much more active, so i finished my journal there. But i couldn't leave you guys in the cold without knowing how things turned out. Anyways things ended up excellent for my grow, was there ever any doubt? LOL So after cropping and drying, i ended up with 364.3 grams in total, of that 78 grams where "whispy" buds, that will go into my trimmings bag to make hash out of sometime in the future. I was left with 286.3 grams(10.2oz) of AWESOME buds. I was hopeing for 3/4 of a P and the total(whispy and good bud) was about a oz over what i guessed i'd get so i'm really happy with the results.

On a Side note, i will be upgrading my equipment to a 36 site aeropoinic system aswell as the full Advanced Nute additives lineup for my next grow. Plus a new air cooled reflector and 1000w digital ballast. I'm not sure if i will post another journal here as it is real slow on this site, which sux cuz i love the layout compared to the 420 forum...but i may so keep an eye out. I still have 7 Orange bud plants in my tent alone with 1 MK Ultra and 1 Fruity chronic Juice... I'll try and post something for them once i start to crop, as they are all in diff phases of flower...anyways, hope everyone enjoyed the ride!
