the brisk chill in the air
the good vibrations of snow days and hot cocoa
smoking ganja on a cold/snowy morning outside or in a warm blanket
cuddling with your puppy high
the  feeling of being in a heated room on a cold day
mushroom season 
psychedelic trips 
my first times tripping were last year in the fall and winter so it brings back fond memories of things I'll be doing soon! gotta clear out dem' brain cobwebs. 
a hot shower on a cold day with drugs

yep, all that shit. I just hate that I can't go outside and play all day without a GD jacket on. its actually warmer here than the last place i lived. So im really looking forward to the winter. but im looking forward to tripping in the fog in the redwood forests up north.

I like the activities that come along with the snow. But I am sure going to miss going out on my dock on a warm summers night smoking spliffs listening to the waves, feeling the warm breeze on my skin, looking up into the starry sky. Winter can be crazy beautiful too, too much clothes though to enjoy it.

I dont like winter too much and I hate summer for me it's all about the fall and spring. Hoodie weather is great, snow is the white devil.

winter is the best part of arizona. perfect weather in the valley, snow and mountains 1 1/2 hours to the north
got a Vegas trip planned for the end of winter. going to be staying in a nice 900 square foot suite with a full kitchen

Just the change of season in general, I enjoy the nice weather of summer but sunny 85 to 100 degree weather gets old and boring very quickly.
Trees become all sorts of colorful
Those first few nights where the air turns crisp and has a nip to it.
Winter means mushrooms. I can't wait to start going mushroom hunting again.
Snowboarding...I am addicted to snowboarding and have been going through withdraws all summer long. Hopefully I can be on the mountain before Halloween this year, if not then maybe before thanksgiving.
The winter storms, I am obsessed with weather so I get really excited anytime storms come through.
I get to wear cozy jackets and hoodies.
And I love that peaceful & tranquil feeling of winter.
Some things I don't like...
The short days and low amount of sunlight.
The times when the entire valley is socked in with fog for a couple weeks at a time, with visibility at a 1/4 mile at the most.
The holidays, by far the most depressing time of the year.
The rain, since the only transportation I have is my feet and my bike the rain really gets in the way when I want to go somewhere.

It's the most nostalgic of seasons for me, virtually everything I look at outside during the fall/winter months brings back vivid memories or moments of some kind. Very cool how it brings back distinct feelings I had as a child.
Being warm feels so much nicer after being cold- having a nice coat on and being out in the chilly weather feels great.

Oh yea....
And all of the delicious strong & hearty seasonal beers that get released during the fall and winter.
And the smell of smoke in the air from fire places.

I like how there are lots of little comfort things like drinks, foods, smokeables, extra layers of clothing, etc...
in the summer the only thing you can do is take your shirt off and drink some ice water and hope for a nice breeze

I spent last night on M1 under a shutdown bridge and just sitting in the road in the rain with my girlfriend/wife. I was wearing a hoodie for the first time since like April. Actually, 4/20 because I found a nitrous balloon in the pocket and the last time I had it was my birthday.
I was able to just sit in the road and not have to worry about being killed by a car or beaten to death by a drunk tourist. I didn't see one other person (although it was after midnight on a Monday).
Thats my favorite part about fall. No fucking tourist douchebags. Just peace and tranquility.

I love the clothes, the dead trees and grey sky, getting dark at 5:30, christmas, hot chocolate, softer music, ice skating, reading next to a fire. I hate christmas music in November though.
