My roommate plays it a bunch and loves it. It's too brutal for me, I can't even watch him play. I really like zombie games like RE4 and COD Zombies but I can't do this one.

This is way less gorey and violent than most other zombie games I recon, especially L4D which I am a fiend for. Its actually a RPG so you do alot more than just kill infected

My PC is a POS so I can't play games on it.
And I can't afford to buy new console games.
So I guess I'll wait until its $30 used

I loved the trailer but I watched the gameplay and it seemed totally disappointing to me.. Seemed too slow-paced to me, and the melee looked like a let down.

Yea its not gonna rate super high on my list of top games, but for $50 I would say its worth a buy, even if you wanna wait till the price goes down

I've been debating getting this,
with Skyrim coming out next month I'm not sure it's worth picking up
how are the RPG elements?
what kind of level ups are there?

I can't wait for Skyrim.
I personally don't like most zombie games just because they should be like shooting fish in a barrel.
I only want to play games where the zombies are slow moving targets with completely average human strength.
Aka the military kills them all within weeks of the outbreak with a few small outbreaks from time to time of ones they missed.
I'm more interested in a post zombie apocalypse where it's a basic RPG/FPS where zombies just happen to be another hazard out in the open wilderness which would cause cities to be walled in.

I think it is a pretty cool game, and I usually wont pay $60 for a brand new game and when I do I'm usually bummed and swear to never do it again, but this one is pretty cool.

i bought it for xbox the other day, first game ive bought for about a year. 
i was pleasently suprised, seems like there is a lot of shit to and its fun as fuck.

Yea I'm outside the hotel area and into the city now, guns are much more common which is making it alot more fun, they are also introducing new special infected which is cool

OK I just picked this game up,
I'm playing with the knife chick
I made it to the lighthouse and was killed be a beach ball
not wanting that death to taint my game
I started over, but more or less playing the same game but I'm ignoring many of the side quests
I simply cannot help everyone at I'm putting too much at risk by trying

Yea i found that the side quests are better after you have acquired some better weapons. I suggest you getting lockpick upto at least 2 to help you get ahead in weapons, i didn't and I struggled until I got a slaughtering wrench.

i created a new game for each character for some reason, but i mainly play as the football player, or whatever sport he plays.
and i haven't even found a gun yet

it's not even a matter of struggling with the missions,
just wait til the zombie is running at you, give them a kick and take their head off with a knife
it's more of a matter of, "screw you and your teddy bear, I want to get off this island or learn to stop the spread of zombies"

Would love to try it out but my desktop took a shit right before I moved. My mates got a ps3 though so I'm gonna pick it up once I got the spare cash.
