So I've never done a soiless mix. I'm doing like 70% coir and 30% perilite. The perilite was that miracle grow shit so I rinsed it for a while and I'm hoping the nutes on it are gone.
That said, I don't really know when to feed my seedlings. I've always used FFOF or Roots Organics soil, and been all set on veg growth without a real need to feed ever.
But since theres nothing in this mix for the plants to live on, when do I start to feed? I don't want to fail before they even get their first leaf set

Why should that mean it isn't real?
Really? Even in coir? I heard to feed just before the cotes crumble off and die. I'm not sure what time frame that is, but it could be what you're saying.
Cool
