My bad sorry about that.
I guess this thread is a good thing. Harry is trying to get me a LED light set up using 10 to 15 watt diodes to test. Says they are so bright he couldn't see right for a week. He just has to get the ok from the owner of the company to do it. He has done testing for him before but they want to get results from a larger set up. Says that I may be one of the first to test diodes of this size for growing. I'm very interested to say the least.

Indeed! I'm hoping the owner isn't so cheap that he makes me pay for the diodes, but we can discuss that if the time comes. The diodes are very fascinating to me because they have the incredible penetration you'd expect from a 15W diode (still not going to be up to snuff of a 1000W HPS for penetration most likely, but still an unbelievably strong light source) but with variable spread angles due to the high quality poly-resin lenses (as opposed to the cheap polycarbonate lenses most LEDs use).
If we could set up about 25-30 of the 10W diodes with 135 degree spreads we might really have something.

What spectrum are those 10-15w diodes? Do you know roughly what they cost each?

The spectrum can be customizable but when I was working on them they were primarily around 680nm because we were tuning them for algae growth for biofuel production. The nice thing is that 650-700nm is a fantastic range for cannabis flowering stage but I'd definitely want to mix in a couple ~420nm diodes and a couple full whites and maybe even a few UVB diodes at a ratio of about 10:5:3:1, respectively

It's really nice to have a close friend that is also in to cultivation.
That's a picture of my future clones. He just cut me 36 Qrazy Train clones. His exact words when I was throwing the SOG idea around, "Those fat little bitches would be perfect for SOG" QT is a mostly indica hybrid, decent yield, short stocky plants.
Here's the plan.
First grow, SOG style. I chose this for the speed, not the efficiency. I will have 36 clones in flower in approximately 10 days from now. This cuts weeks of waiting off from my initial flowering start date. In the meantime, in veg, I will be creating a beefy, trained plants for ScrOG next time around.
Putting the finishing touches on the tent today. Need to put up some ducting and hang the LEDs.
Many more pics coming soon.

We got the wrong ducting from the hydro store. We got the regular and we need the one that does not allow light in. So it's supposed to be in tomorrow. Hence the delay in the pics of the tent.
I am trying to seal up every single light leak in that cheap tent. Word of advice, don't buy a cheap tent or you will spend hours setting it up and hours fucking with light leaks. I can't hang the led lights up in the tent until I get all this squared away.
I took a few pictures just to show what's going on now. More to come as soon as I get the tent all set up.
The first few pics are the 4 JB and QT clones mentioned in the beginning. They came in not looking great at all and have improved immensely, but still have a way to go. They are strong enough for some LST, but I can't start really working with them until they have a transplant.
My plan may change in the future, but as of now, I want to get those 4 clones trained for a ScrOG (second grow) after I do the first SOG mentioned earlier in the thread. If all goes well and they turn in strong healthy plants, I may just do 2 plants per led. But I am getting ahead of myself....
And the last few pics are of the seedlings. They were initially stunted. I was eager to start growing and did not have my temperature under control. We live in an older house and the AC could not keep up with one T5. Now we have a 1000 BTU stand alone AC in the room, and the temp is fine. Despite their rocky start, the seedlings seem to be getting back on track just fine.
Yes, they are hungry. They have a feeding due in a few hours. I plan on raising the PPM. Seedlings have been getting 250 for the last week or so. Clones are currently getting 700.

My boyfriend helps me, but he has a job, so once everything is all set up, it will be mainly me doing the work.
Of coarse, the ducting for the tent was not in today, but they promised tomorrow.
Also, my clones are not getting here as soon as I hoped because my friend is going out of town first, then bringing them to me.
I can't believe we have been in our new place for a month now and the operation is this backed up.

Ducting came in for the tent yesterday. We should get the tent finished tonight. Lights are off right now.
Lots of pics coming tonight or tomorrow of the transplanted girls and the whole setup.

Those 4 clones I took in are recovering so nicely, I may just flower those 4 ScroG style under one light and SOG my incoming clones on the other. Tent still not ready should be done tonight.

Seedlings and clones are all looking pretty damn good IMO.
Definitely going to Scrog those 4 clones. As you can see by the pictures, they are responding well to LST.
Bought a screen from the hydro store, just got to get that up. I hope to be flowering those 4 clones within the next day so stay tuned.
Not sure what the deal is with my other clones. Haven't heard from my buddy in days. Not sure if he's still out of town or what. If your reading this, M, I WANT MY BABIES PLEASE

A picture of the tent all set up before I put anything in there. Those lights are BRIGHT. I know there are a lot of LED haters out there and I feel really good about this. I'm out to make some believers!
Also a picture of the 4 clones that are going under a ScroG under one light. Last night was Day 1 flower.
More good news, my SOG clones are coming tomorrow, so both sides of the tent will be operational soon.
