Yes, don't dry with silica man. You want a nice, slow dry, and a nice, slow cure.
Otherwise your hard work is going to amount to buds that look alright but taste like shit and burn up in one hit. If you want it to taste like you're smoking a bag of lawn clippings and smell like nasty grass, use silica gel. If not, slowwwww and lowwwwww my man.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

I've had it happen when I grew in Hawaii and here in Cali tons of times. Just not with autoflowers. Not saying it can't happen I just haven't grown autos much since I'm not a fan of them.
QFT and to reiterate there is growers out there with several year old multiple harvest plants, that claim of not losing potency til around 3rd or 4th harvest
Magash, what were some good outdoor strains for you in hawaii? im sure mold resistance was crucial, but as far as climate and photoperiod matching, etc

You know when I was in Hawaii I was pretty big into Spice of Life strains. Sweet Tooth#3 and Shiskaberry were two of my favorites when I was there. Sensi Seeds Super Skunk worked out well for me also.

yeah sweettooth does amazing out there the sweet tooth x strawberry cough a friend brought me seeds of. i grew outdoor organic there and it was great small. thick. FASSSST flower. unique flavor/aroma to say the least
a few females of that strain i pollinated with a white widow male. the resulting plants are gorgeous, but getting a lot of herm
i finally got a scope for checking resin glands, and realized i was harvesting way early out there tho. plants ripen so fast, its sort of an illusion on the ripeness.
now a closet full of plants that are going to be 9weeks +/- to finish the suspense is killing me harvesting a plant or two any day i wanted from my outdoor in hawaii to watching these girls daily and waiting FOREVER i keep checking the calendar to make sure im not way closer to harvest than i thought ...
doing wayyyyy to much to the plants, more than they need, freaking them out, freaking me out. i just had to clean the slate of all the info ive taken in in the last couple months learning about indoor. had to get back to the basics, and forget about all the cut corners crap. these plants are born to be healthy, if i give them a balanced medium(stable, and gradual)full of rich organic matter, and a very balanced nutrient diet. i have very little need for wondering what nutrients my plant isnt getting, or why the last batch of water i gave them freaked them out, etc. its just balanced and healthy. guess i dont have to grow in a lab to grow indoors. like bringing the outdoors in with me. just gotta stay on those mites
