 Best venue you've been to?

There are some fucking epic outdoor and indoor venues around the US and the world. I'm curious to hear where everyone has gone to and who did you see there. Last month I went to a show at red rocks amphitheater in Denver, CO and that place has my top pick for sure. Its hard to imagine a better place to see a concert. Tonight we are driving 15 hours to go to the Gorge, which is in George, WA. It's supposed to be another epic outdoor venue. Next month is the Oddity Faire with Primus on 10/29 at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, another epic venue i've never been to.
the gorge:
Oh, going up there to see Identity festival with some friends from seattle. The line up is basically The Crystal Method, Disco Biscuits (the one im most excited to see, although it's a fucking daytime show that starts at 4:45), Rusko, Pretty Lights, and Kaskade to close it out.

lucky you having your ID fest start at 4:45
ours started at noon and all the cool bands (minus DJ shadow) were playing in the southern heat, honestly im shocked nobody died of heatstroke

but to answer your question... i would have to say I have never been to a venue that is particularly special, a couple underground rave spots that have made an impression on my soul but no bigger official venues
If you ever hit atlanta though, check out an electronic show at King Plow. that place is classy as tits
ok.. nevermind, To answer your question I would say the Fox Theater in ATL

cant find any good pictures of it though
i've heard of the fox in atl. been to the fox in oakland. it's probably one of my top three indoor venues. behind the warfield in SF. also, i just checked the forcast for George, WA and it's supposed to be a record high of 98 tomorrow. :/ but i suppose that does mean women in little amounts of clothes. 
the show actually starts earlier in the day. but i just want to see the biscuits perform at 4:45. i'll be dancin like a crazy man im sure.

red rocks and the gorge have my pics as far as outdoor venues. indoor i'd have to say the fox theater in st. louis is a pretty epic venue when your twisted on shrooms, jammin to some panic. alpine valley in wisconsin is another of my favorite outdoor venues

40 watt club (athens, ga)
the masquerade (atlanta, ga)
mainly because i saw some of my favorite bands at those venues. though, i passed the troubador here in LA while riding the bus the other day, so i may have to catch some shows there.
