 medicating in public

Well now that I have my medical card and am using cannabis more I am trying to find a way to medicate in public. There is no fear of law enforcement, but I still can't toke up during a class or out in public.
I am thinking of buying a  which will be great but will take time to be delivered if/when I order it. Edibles are the obvious, but I'm nervous about buying an eight of really good cannabis and cooking with it, because if I screw up and waste it I'd be very upset. I might order some edibles from a cannabis kitchen in my area, but they are a little bit pricey and I'm going to spend the cash I have right now on herb to smoke.
Any good tips on smoking in public? Bathroom stalls are great for privacy but still the sound/smell/smoke are a problem. Also, it'd be a pain in the ass to try and pack a bowl in a public stall so I'd have to pre pack and cover it somehow.

I don't understand. Is this just you can't smoke in public places because it bothers you?

No, it's because I can legally smoke but not in public. I could still get in trouble for that, especially school, work, and "drug free zones" even though I'm legally allowed to smoke marijauna.

I use to carry a one hit bat with stash.
Most people don't care but there can be that one. PITA
Be cool about it and you should be safe.

And how would it be a pain in the ass to pack a bowl in a bathroom stall?

What exactly does the law say about smoking in public? You can't "smoke" in public, or you can't "medicate" in public?
Because vaporizing is not smoking.
Also, grow a pair. You're legal - start hiking around the city with a three foot bong.

Ok, here's a few things you better remember because of that card. When you get busted smoking in public you get busted harder then if you didn't have the card.
Just the same if you get caught smoking with somebody that has no card. They look at it like this. Since you have the card you are smoking your medicine with somebody who has no card so it's a whole new charge added to the smoking charge. They also look at it as you were told this when you got the card. When a person gets caught smoking on state land then it can get really ugly if they have a card.
This is esp true if you were crazy enough to get the state issued card.

Smoking in public is the easiest thing in the world. Roll a perfect spliff, looks and smells like you are smoking a cigarette. Use edibles. Have a small pipe, go where no one looks and load it up. One hitters. It's easy, and unless you around a bunch of cops it's no problem at all.

My weed doesnt smell anything like cigs, but yes, joints are the way to go in public.
I usually light one up when I walk my dog.

I used to chop up 3grams rolls some joints/fill up my bong before putting it all back in my back, all in the school bathrooms.

ya either smoke a bowl in your car
or smoke joints. in between classes or whatever, go walk around outside - no not right next to everyone. walk 25-30 feet away from people light up a J and cuff it. thats what i usually did.

I agree with the car being safest. Commuting to and from school freshman year consisted of a 12 mile stretch of highway no one is really on at night, so it was pretty easy.

The state issued card protects you from the local cops.............not having it protects your privacy from anyone besides your doctor.

Tgat doesn't work for those of us that dislike tobacco. When my friends used to roll spliffs i would just sit out because I hate the taste and harshness of tobacco. A blunt wrap is ok but spliffs are a disgusting waste of weed in my opinion.
I'd just smoke out of a 1-hitter with a dugout. I have one i may or may not be willing to trade for something if you want  . If you have a smoke shop around you can get one yourself for about 5 bucks. I personally just don;t use mine because i buy cheap weed and roll it up, I just use the one-hitter for the chrooooonic.

Many clubs will give cards when you go to them for the first time or there are places like the Patient ID center.

Their cards are accepted just about everyplace in the state. Look exactly like a drivers license and you don't have your name on some state record. (The state record thing is the thing that sucks the most)
The center also has a branch in the LA area. They also sell some pretty good smoking equipment at a decent price and if you get a card from them you get a discount on smoking supplies.
Also have hash bags and pollen collectors. 
and from them you can get the grow permit which is crazy to get from the state if they even offer one.
