Hey guys, I found this image on the internet today and thought it seemed quite suspicious looking. I assumed it's completely fake because I've never come across buds even half this size. However, where it was posted people are saying that it's legitimate. What say you?

Looks like they just cut off part of a really dense plant and trimmed off the bigger leaves. Dunno.
EDIT: Tycho reference in your subtitle thing?

You're correct about the Tycho reference.
Either those are some massive nugs, or somebody has some pretty good photoshop skills.

ive never seen buds that big. the closest was a bc big bud done under 2000w of hps in a hydro bucket. but those are still reasonably bigger then the ones i saw. i dunno it could be legit. there are some talented folks out there.

I could believe it. I got a nug over an ounce just from a single plant under CFL's. With the right strain and some TLC it's possible.

ive also had a single terminal cola that was an OZ dry and looked as big as the ones in the pictures here. and it was indoor only under 400 watts.
