Can't wait to get my card... I've been trying to hunt down some Green Crack ever since I first tried it ages ago. Hopefully it won't be too expensive, just bud I'll probably stick to buying outside of the clubs, definitely gonna look into the oils/hash though, if it really lasts me longer I'd be glad to switch over. Hopefully the edibles will be reasonably priced as well

A gram of green crack is 20.

There's a place here that sells green crack for $18 for 3.5 grams. But there are other places that sell a top shelf version for 50$ for an eighth. it's crazy stupid. so i think it's important to go into the places and make my mind up by what i see rather than sticking to specific strains. the key is to find the top shelf of the strain you dig the most, imo.

all the dispensaries i've seen so far down here, while they have a great selection and high quality, is pretty expensive. Normally 15-25 a gram. Sometimes 10.
Know of any cheaper dispensaries up here?

I got one of those yesterday, it's $18 because each gram is $5. You'd be surprised by the quality of $5 bud from a dispensary, I've seen worse for $25 a g on the each coast and in the south.

oh yeah, it's still better than the shit I got for the first 5 years i was smoking pot. but after smoking the high end stuff for a couple months, it's crap. good luck today! I have a job interview in a few hours too. its a big day for us both! sorry, i dont know of any dispensaries out there. go to weedmaps.com. they should have a map of shit in your area. the clubs may also have the dispensary information posted on a website like stickyguide or that other one i forgot the name of.

Good luck at the interview!
I have been reading a lot on weedmaps and thc finder. I've called some places and looked at others online menu. It's all so awesome, but most the dispensaries are 15-25 a gram. Average is 20, sometimes you'll see one for 10.

Michigan appeals court says medical marijuana can't be sold at dispensaries

A medical marijuana operation that participates in selling the drug to consumers can be shut down as a public nuisance, the Michigan Court of Appeals said in a decision announced this morning.
The three judge panel, ruling on a case out of Isabella County, said that the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act “does not include the patient-to-patient ‘sales’….”
The decision can be used as precedent and applied to other cases.
A lower court had said that said the Compassionate Apothecary was operating within the law when its operators allowed patients or caregivers to buy marijuana that other members had stored in their lockers rented from the facility. The owners, according to court records, provided the mechanism for the sales and took a 20 % cut of the sale price.
But the appellate judges in their 17-page opinion said that the Medical Marijuana law doesn’t include sales as “medical use,” and therefore it does not trump existing anti-drug laws.
“Defendants have no authority to actively engage in and carry out the selling of marijuana between … members,” the order read. “We conclude that defendant’s operation … is a public nuisance.”
The ruling supports the Isabella County Prosecutor’s effort to close the operation as a public nuisance that violates the state’s Public Health Code.
The unanimous order was signed but Appellate judges Joel P. Hoekstra, Christopher M. Murray and Cynthia Diane Stephens.

Just got back from the doctor. I'm legal! 
It was already eight by the time I got out, so I couldn't go to a dispensary tonight, but I will tommorow.
Someone was telling me at the doctor's office that the dispsaries weren't legal anymore. I've been reading up on it and I doubt it's going to last. Protests are already being planned. Some dispensaries are just going to give weed away for free, cause that's still perfectly legal it's just buying that they claim isn't legal, other will continue with buisness as normal.

Damn, I wonder where you are that you can get Green Crack for $18.. It's my favorite strain that I've tried and I definitely want to lock it down once I get my card, I looked at every result in Sacramento and can't find anything like that..
All of them were $25-35 an 1/8th for it. Except ONE place, Ace Meds that has a delivery service.. It's weird though, it's listed on the "compassionate shelf", which means it's the smaller buds of the same quality, and for some reason it's listed under Hybrid even though it looks just like the usual. Apparently they also have Platinum OG Kush and White Russian listed for the same prices  . Though an ounce for $125 of any of those strains seems like a great price.
Why would they charge $10 a gram like most of the other places but sell an 1/8th for $20, instead of $25-35 like everywhere else? Would it really be a loss somehow to buy the smaller buds? Sorry for kind of hijacking the thread, but I didn't think start my own just for this was worth it, and it's relevant enough

I believe you have a thread in cult saying your gonna be growing soon. I'll tell ya what's 10 times more fun then buying from the clubs.....he he he...Selling to em. 
They give ya a ton of free stuff to keep you bringing in goods to em. One place gives a bong every time I drop off there and one gives a ton of free edibles.
One club in Oakland asked me to grow out a bunch of clones from some of their mother plants, something I don't really like to do. (I prefer to use my own Mother plants) I was feeling particularly nice (do to a fresh batch of hash) so I said yes. When I got them the clones they needed they gave me a digital volcano as a tip.  (Harbor Side Health Center in Oakland.)

Wow, that's awesome! Growing and selling to the clubs definitely sounds like the way to go. I'd love to seriously get into it, time to start reading up some more and visiting the Cultivation forum
