Morning, brothers and sisters. 
Today is the day! At 4:40PM I see one last doctor to get one last piece of paperwork before I become a medical marijuana patient. If all goes well, I should be going to my first dispensary tonight. Though, there is a small chance that this doctor may not have what I need, but if that's so then it'll just be a day or two longer wait. Anyways, I am very excited and pretty goddamn stoned. I'm not going to smoke anymore until the dispensary tonight- don't want to be too high while finishing my card process. 
Holy shit this shall be an awesome day.
My medicine gets to be acknowledged by the law as medicine.
And that's pretty cool, and makes it so much better.
What should I buy on my first trip(s) to the dispenar(ies)y?
I get to get my choice of free gram/free edible from almost each place cause it's my first trip.
There is a lot of really amazing strains, wax, tar, budder, edibles, hash, oil, e-joints, drinks, kief, ect.

If you got the money try a little of all of those, wax, budder, hash, keif are usually more expensive but last longer and get you much higher.
First time I went to a dispensary I got a bunch og's and hashes within the next few days or weeks......... all kinda blurs together. I hit like 5 or 6 places and stocked up, got a bunch of freebie edibles and shitty joints for joining different dispensaries. After a while I just found the best place in the area and became a regular.

hahaha, that's how it's been for me. I've had my card about two months now and ive hit up about 15 or so dispensaries. I definitely have it down as far as where to go for what. it's always interesting going to a new club up here. They are all so discrete on the outside. Some of them reek of weed on the outside too. all of them up here have a separate entry way. I went to one in venice called the farmacy and they had their front doors wide open so anyone could just walk in and look at bud products. that was cool, until i saw that their top shelf was $80 for 3.5 grams. FUUUCCCCKKK That! no weed in the world that ive ever seen or smoked is worth that. i didn't look at it but now i regret that. i want to see what that expensive weed looks like. The best we got out here (imo) is a pure sativa strain called Super Jack. It's soooooo god damned tasty. Then there's a really great indica i just tried called Strawberry Romulan. mix those two together and plan on not doing anything for a while. also, as a result of all this I will add that I've spent more money on weed these past three months than I have for the past three years. and that fucking sucks so i think im gonna do another grow soon. not trying to hijack ur thread or anything tho. just a few medical cannabis experiences from the west side.

Yeah I love jack Herer and a lot of sativas like trainwreck, green crack, mr. nice. I smoke a ton of og kush mainy though...... makes me feel the way I like to feel.

I want a med card JUST so I can have access to pure sativas,I fucking love sativa strains and they are near impossible to get around here.

Okay, guys.
Good news and bad news.
Bad news
My psychologist didn't have the papers I needed, which is fine cause I knew that was possible, he was just free so I wanted to try him first.
I have an appointment scheduled tommorow at 5:45 in which I will definitily get my papers and finally be legal. It's so exciting I'm going to explode. 
It sucks that I'll be out another hundered bucks but oh well that's the price you pay.  I'll pretty much be getting it back in the free grams/edibles I'll get from the dispensaries.
Life is great. By tommorow at six o clock I will be exploring some dispenaries. 
more , I am high as fuck and still have enough weed to keep me until tommorow.

There are so many amazing pure sativas. Go on weedmaps or thcfinder and look at some in the Michigan sections. It's awesome.
I am really excited, I haven't had too many pure sativas.
