 New aerocloner and root development

So its my first time using this 25 site aerocloner I just bought. Should I be using a nutrient solution to stimulate root growth or just straight water, and should it be pH adjusted? Also, how long should it take to see root development on average? Going on a week tomorrow and the cuttings have no root development whatsoever. Thanks for the help.

Just ph balanced water, pump on 24 hrs, change water at least every 48 hrs, should see good root growth anywhere between 7 to 21 days.

Thanks again y'all! I pH-ed the water and for a while was noticing this sour milk smell... So I changed out the water like twice a day over the last few days and things are looking epic, imo, at the 11 day mark:
