As far as I see it, theres nothing wrong with making a few jokes about a dead person. When I die, if people make jokes about me, I wouldn't mind. Sure theres people who are sad, but laughter is the best medicine in any situation imo.
If anyone was serious and meant the horrible nasty things they said about people, sure, they're assholes. But imo everything needs to be taken light heartedly and poked fun at at least a little bit. If not, we'd be severely depressed people.
We can make little jokes about the death of a celebrity because its easy. Even if we liked them, none of us knew them personally (well, most of us). If we got genuinely upset over every celebrity death, it would be a terrible world. I personally like to save my grief for someone I knew personally.
Thats all just my opinion though. I 100% understand where you are coming from. Maybe I'm just completely desensitized to all that kinda shit at this point. Maybe I'm a bitter asshole. IDK.

But I agree, I don't see anything wrong with cracking jokes.
I cracked a joke about her death on the day she died.
Although death is a sad thing, it's a part of life.

Yeah I don't find that joke -- "I guess she should have gone to rehab" -- funny at all,
simply because it's not funny. A friend said that to me while discussing her death, and
it didn't dawn on me that it was a joke.
Like how is it funny? Is there something I'm missing?
She made a song called rehab, and had a drug problem.
Even if she went to rehab, she could have easily relapsed, and OD.
I don't get it. 
Oh well, that's great that you guys are fans, I just don't find her music or vocals appealing at all.
But she definitely has a unique voice. I'll give her that.
