Last night I went to my first meditation class with two friends. I had never really focused on meditation as I was never really sure of what to focus on, what to let go, positions, etc etc. But we were doing a breathing exercise last night on the seventh chakra, at the crown of the head, and I felt a really strong state of altered consciousness unlike anything I had ever felt before. I didn't take any drugs yesterday before meditation either. My friend is kind of emotionally closed off and the meditation drove her to sobbing (and she's got a lot of meditative practice under her belt). So after that we walked around the city and discussed the workshop and our experiences. It was a lovely time, full of love and non-judgement. We smoked a bowl before bed and then went to sleep at our own homes. I woke up this morning about two hours ago and felt compelled to send alex a message. I told her about a dream I had had. (As a little background I quit my job two months ago, almost to the day, and then moved out to cali to be closer to these friends.) The dream included all four of us at the beach and there were giant waves, the size of buildings, crashing down on the shore. It appeared to be a nice area and everything, but the waves were destroying shit. Anyway, we all just sit out there like nothing is happening. Then something happened that I can't fucking remember the details of. It was a synchronistic event. I remember my buddy saying to me, wow, you guys are synched. Anyway, I texted a summary of that to my friend and she texts me back saying that she had a very similar dream with all of us in it. There were huge black waves, and we were all four at the beach. But in her dream we all ascended with some aliens.
I rarely dream, or at least remember my dreams. This one was as vivid as I have ever had. It was the first dream i've ever had that included any of the people in this dream, let alone all of them. Plus my friend had a very very similar dream. Actually, there's more to this. We had originally intended on going to do yoga at 6:30 this am, but we were both too tired. Both of these dreams happened during our simultaneous slumbers.

ive tried it a bit before, on my own. but never do too well, or keep doing it longer then a week or so.
id like to go to some classes about it.

I love meditation and yoga. I haven't been doing either much recently though. I did about 20 minutes of yoga yesterday and after all of my yoga I end with me lying on my back, arms at my side, with my palms facing up. If you have been truly immersed in the experience for just a little bit you can feel the eternal spirit flow through your palms and recharge your soul.
It's pretty great.

That's a magical story FB.
Sitting in complete silence and just truly listening to all the life that's around you is a great experience. Even that much more amazing when you've got lucy with ya
