I recall reading that consuming cannabis during the roll also helped greatly with the crash, might be speaking out of my ass though.

Nah, it really does. I love smokin on the come-down. It helps ease your mind and body so much. Never smoke before you peak though, it tends to kill it...

you actually want to take the 5 htp before im pretty sure
and thats weird with you and methylone. my friends take it every weekend and they love it because there is next to no hangover like with mdma. they roll hard for the weekend, some taking gram+ doses and are always fine the next day.
well, relatively fine considering the amount they eat. no where near where mdma would make them feel though.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

My problem wasn't that it fucked me up the next day, it was that I dosed again too soon I think.
Will letcha know how it goes today in this thread later.
Going to the casino because I got a "$10 free play" ticket and $10 meal credit for free. I've never spent a dime in that shit hole and they keep sending me free money. Fuck yeah.

Why should that mean it isn't real?

5-HTP: The Serotonin Connection
5-HTP is short for 5-hydroxy-tryptophan. Unlike tryptophan, 5-HTP is not fermented or manufactured through chemical synthesis. It is a natural extract from the seeds of the Griffonia plant.
Some physicians are using 5-HTP for Parkinson's disease, myclonus, anxiety, despression, appetite control, Alzheimer's disease, sleep disorders, autism, addictions, aggression, aging problems, dementia, and various other health problems. It is considered experimental and classed as an investigational new drug.
Though only 1% to 2% of all serotonin in our bodies is found in the brain, it plays an important role in mediating our behavior and moods.
Serotonin cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, which means that it cannot leave the blood stream and pass into the brain tissue, as oxygen and other nutrients do.
Tryptophan, which does cross the blood-brain barrier, is actively transported into the brain where it is hydroxylated by the action of tryptophan hydroxylase at the 5 position, yielding the isolated intermediate (5-HTP). Then the 5-HTP is rapidly decarboxylated by an amino acid decarboxylase to yield serotonin (5-HT). These are instantaneous chemical reactions.
Serotonin, or 5-HT, affects thebrain in two different ways. First, it has a hormonal effect. The molecules diffuse outward and communicate with other cells, somehow influencing their functioning in a manner we do not completely understand. The second effect, which is better understood, is through the normal action of neurotransmitters.
Although 5-HTP is a safe alternative to serotonin-enhancing drugs, several other compounds that increase serotonin have received some very bad press. The first of these was tryptophan, the amino acid precursor to 5-HTP. A bad batch of tryptophan, which contained a contaminant, was released by a single Japanese producer. This contaminant caused breaked of a terrible disorder called eosinophilia myalgia syndrome (EMS). As a result, the FDA banned the sale of all tryptophan in the American health food market.
Certain drugs taht seem to be effective in treating depression are called SSRIs, which stand for selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. As the name states, they inhibit the reuptake of serotonin and thereby increase its levels in the brain. This category includes such drugs as Prozac, Paxil, Luvox, and Zoloft.
One interesting aspect of serotonin is its structural similarity to a number of hallucinogenic drugs, such as LSD. These hallucinogens seem to partially inhibit the firing of serotonin neurons by competing with serotonin at the level of 5-HT receptors--fooling them because they possess a similar chemical structure.
