It's disturbing that the state and the people continue to fight with violence. The state would dissolve itself if it was truly doing the will of the people.

They are a fairly socialist-leaning democracy, they had A LOT of money in state entitlement programs. When the financial crisis occurred the whole country went into the negative. The youth of the country don't want to be sold down the river so their elders can continue to live the same unsustainable lifestyle.
The people have been protesting and rioting, and it has turned into one giant clash with the police, unfortunately.
The same thing is happening in the US but we sit at home and watch TV instead of fighting for our future.
