Cano is raw but, can you believe his dad? That man is in perfect shape for a 20yr old and he's 49. he pitched all three rounds with his son plus he picked up Ortiz after Prince Fielder rejected Big Papi use to his pitcher. lol I have to be sure to give it up to Adrian Gonzalez he was cranking them out there like toss paper planes!!!
What did yall think of the whole AL vs. NL setup?? I personally kinda thought it was an unnecessary complication and really just was more detail to go into the "profile" of the game rather than the Derby itself.

Cano's dad used to be a pro baseball player, that's why he's in such good shape I think. But yeah, he hung in there for sure. Gonzalez is a monster though, and such a great hitter, it's almost unbelievable. He's swing looks so effortless. Not many times you hit 11 in the final round and lose. I take nothing away from Adrian Gonzalez, great hitter imo. I had a feeling he might win it, but it was a sweet final round even though he lost.
Yeah, I dunno about the AL vs NL thing. Just seems like bragging rights to the winner, there's nothing to strive for. Just pick 8 dudes and let them swing away imo. Whatever though, you get to see a bunch of homers either way. Did you see how far some of Cano's, Fielder's, and Gonzalez's homers were? Some of those shots were fuckin ridiculous man. Longest was 472 by Fielder, and he only beat Cano by 2 feet for the longest. Those are some strong motherfuckers though, some of those center field homers and the ones hitting like hot dog stands and shit were epic.
