For my self, I find opiates to be the best drug for socializing and breaking down my social anxiety. Low to moderate doses (5mg hydrocodone or 1mg hydromorphone for example) and my social anxiety is pretty much non-existent. Not only do I enjoy talking more and want to but with out any of that anxiety my thoughts seem to flow much more freely and my mind feels lucid. It sounds bad, but I really wish they prescribed low doses of opiates for anxiety, nothing melts away my anxiety like opiates.
Weed, it really depends on the strain. Some strains induce anxiety while others kill it. Some strains make me super talkative and stimulated while others make me couch locked and cloudy. Sativas are good for socializing .
I've dabbled with low doses of Ritalin (20mg) and noticed it really lubed up my social interaction.
And I also find low doses of LSD and low doses of MDMA to be fantastic for socializing, be surprise right  !?...
