 Getting blood drawn today

I have a check up today and theyre drawing some blood, ive never had that done. Ive had IVs and shots and tattoos and piercings but something about getting blood drawn makes me want to just pass out.  I hate medical needles.

Tell em when you get there how terrified you are if you're not driving yourself.
They give you some benzos 
I do it every time, because I fucking panic and pass out.
One time some 15 year old girl was literally fighting the nurse out of fear. It was my first time and I was terrified. Then a like 5 year old went infront of me and never made a peep the whole time. I felt like a douche for being so scared and I wanted to go punch out that stupid whiney bitch after seeing the 5 year old do it haha.

I just kinda sat there and breathed deep not looking at it. It wasnt bad. They took like four big vials

I hate needles, but last time I had blood drawn I wasn't being a bitch about it, I watched them draw the vials full and it was kind of unreal. They stuck the needle in and attached the vials to the tube, and they were full almost instantly. The vials had some kind of yellow/brown-ish gel or something on the bottom, and ever since I've been curious what it's for. I've seen blood drawn out with regular syringes all the time but seeing how quickly those vials filled up without any help from a syringe was interesting, I was thinking that might be what the yellow/brown liquid at the bottoms of the vials was for but I don't see how that would work, it's probably just the pressure from the blood going through my veins that did the trick. 
They took 3 vials, it was done at about the same rate it'd take to open a bottle and pour 3 shots

I hate getting blood drawn. I think it has to do with my problem with poking myself.
