Yeah, if it makes you feel better you can just blame it on someone else.

It makes me feel better to not blame it on me:derfase:

Being an army brat and growing up around a lot of military folk in my life. I always see the same mentality in the young dudes that go in. What's even worst then all that is how the veterans are treated when they come back by our government.

I'm kinda surprised at the responses on here about this. That's what the military does they break you down mentally and physically. They completely tear you down. Whoever you were before you signed that contract is completely gone after. You're never gonna be the same again. And if by some slim chance you manage to keep your mental state intact. I can bet you that at least physically you're going to have some serious damage done to yourself by the you're out that your not ever gonna be able to fully recover from.

I was originally going to join the marines at 18 but after I realized how many freedoms were going to be taken away I said fuck that! Shit aint worth it no matter how much they pay me.

Like what? Seems strait forward to me. Military Industrial Complex manipulates people in a manner that best suit their interests (aka money+power).

Dragon.. I know a guy named dragon.  He was a sniper and they kicked him out of the military for using LSD.  He was well on his way to being paid for the rest of his life and now he just shifts around from place to place... It is kinda sad how they treat our soldiers, yet still I cannot touch this subject because it has too many philosophical implications.

:nonono: poor guy

They program people to kill and when there done with them.
NO deprogramming. That cost money.

Pour un instant, j'ai respiré très fort
Ça m'a permis de visiter mon corps
Des inconnus vivent en roi chez moi
Moi qui avait accepté leurs lois
J'ai perdu mon temps à gagner du temps
J'ai besoin de me trouver une histoire à me conter
Pour instant j'ai oublié mon nom
Harmonium - Pour un instant

The only medal i ever recieved was the Vietnam era medal and i think i am ok.:derfase:
The bad thing is the military makes you think that you are so much better than any civilian.

It took me awhile to get that kind of thinking out of my mind when i first got back to the mainland, It seriously can fuck you up if you are a weak minded person.

Maybe its worse for the ones over in Iraq or Afganistan but i doubt it is any worse than WW2 Korea or Vietnam was.:stonedjerk:

My Uncle Gene who is Toms real father:crankeytom:
"Yes cranky Tom was a real person and my cousin RIP:inlove:"

Anyway my Uncle Gene was a marine in the worst battle in the Pacific theatre, he is ok to this day and i still see him on a regular basis.

90% of his platoon was killed in the battle of Pelelui
He told me he went crazy and was jerking japs out of the caves and killing them them with his military issue .45 calibre handgun.
He thought it was just a matter of time until he was shot dead but he survived
He is a highly decorated marine and deservingly so.

The cool thing about him is he has faced all this tragedy and lived a fully good life.
Im not going to say he was always ok but he was smart enough to not let that kind of horrible past turn him into a fucking asshole..:hi5:

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?
