Methods of Ingesting Hash and Charas (Kief)

For this post, I'm not talking about the culinary aspects of ingestion, as they work virtually the same way as shake, etc.

How do you guys smoke your hash and kief?

Are you a standard bud-in-bowl with hash or kief on top? Or do you just stick that hunk of hash in there? Roll it up with some bud? Light a hunk and leave it under a glass to be sipped out with a sippy-straw?

And finally, vaporization. Most importantly, what temperature?! Also, what method do you use to vaporize it? Just drop a few chunks in? Make a little screen of ground bud and sprinkle hash/kief on top? I personally have a Volcano, it comes with a steel wool screen for vaping honey oil, any thoughts on that?

In others words; how do you personally hash it out?

holy shit, this thread just reminded me that I am missing some kief and some other bud as well. I need to find that shit asap. anyway, i just smoked a bowl with some hash layered on top of it. The first hit is absolutely what i live for. it's fantastic! thats how i usually do it. nothing special there.

Jarras is not kief. its closer to bubble hash than anything.

Well kief is actually "kief" mixed with black tobacco, the terminology is very confused, sorry.

Edit: My bad, I guess technically "kif" is the Moroccan black tobacco and kief mix. I guess kief or "loose hash" is still the best way to describe the UN-pressed trichomes.

I saw that charas is a kind of pressed hash, but I have heard kief refer ed to as charas from a couple different sources.

My most preferred method of ingesting hash is to hot-knife but it doesn't work so well with lower quality stuff.

yeah Jarras is this shit we get in israel from india, its more or less bubble hash im pretty sure but arguably it can be stronger.

It's definitely not more or less bubblehash. Charas is palm-rubbed the old fashion way and thus contains more plant material which would presumably make it less potent than full melt bubble passed through several micron screens.

i dunno how its made, im just saying the appearance of it is more or less like bubble hash. You probably haven't had jarras from india, i have and its defintiely quality.

it may be slightly less potent than bubble hash but its still pretty strong stuff. The indian plants are pretty damn potent, so even if it contains a little more plant material its still solid stuff and definitely comparable to, if not quite as potent as bubble.

Either hot knife or sandwiched between two layers of bud in a bowl so that when you light it up all the hash melts and soaks into the weed

or out of a bowl with a screen, or big lumps just caked in a bubbler or something, any method usually ends with the same satisfaction

I either mix mine into cookies when I'm baking, or put a tiny ball of it in some shisha in my hookah and blaze that shit up.

IIRC, a proper hookah doesn't burn the stuff but vapes it, so I guess I technically vape my hash. Maybe thats why it fucks me up so hard.

oops.....sorry my bad.

i found out it takes for ever to burn a glob of hash in the glass jar:) I usually do the hookah method and always thought the has burned away quickly but i guess since the shish soaks it up i guess that makes sense now...
