Stress Training Autos?
    #562100 - 06/05/11 06:59 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Got a 10 pk of short ryder. Before i pop'em i wanted to see if anyone has grown out this strain. Never grown autos. Gonna go start to finish outside. I was thinking of just toppin and tying like i usually do, but i don't know how autos will respond. Can't seem to find much info. Any expertise is appreciated.  :peace:

I've never grown autos but I don't see why they would react much differently.

I've got blueberry autos going outdoors. I topped a couple and the others I didn't. To be honest the ones that are not topped seem to be doing better. They are little but it looks as if I will get up to a half oz from each. They are pretty thick.  Autos have such a short cycle it doesn't give them much time in veg so I believe the topping is stressing them to long. IDK.

Good to know. Depending on how they grow I may tie them a lil and see how it goes. Are you currently doing a log of the blueberrys?

Thanks for the feedback man

Auto's show sex by end of week 3. Not much time for veg.You can LST them if  they need to be keep down.
I don't top them. Seem to repond slow and did not get as much weight as non toped ones.
Only one out door grow, got to 2 1/2 feet. 4 indoor grows.
Didn't weigh them, got seeded. Thought I pulled all the males before pollen got out but being outdoors u never know.

thanks Kapt. I'll be doing a log soon enough here. Just gotta get my ass in gear. I'm really excited to watch these autos do grow!

On a side note I've got some papaya, superskunk, aurora indica, blueberry, bubblelicious, blue widow,chrystal,bigmac,haze/skunk cross and white widow going now.

One plant of each strain...half are in the ground. tomorrow the rest go to their new home.... pretty stoked!  :awetongue:

how's the water cooling project coming?

The water project is going great on the small res's.
After this grow will test the large one.

Just had to admit to myself that its to hot to grow here in june, july and aug.The a/c never stops in the flowering room.
Just will have to take that time off from growing after this summer grow.

No I'm not. I wish I would of.I harvested a few days ago. The blueberries only gave me 15 grams of bud but it is a nice early treat.

My Ak47 and 48,white rhino,Og skunk, great white shark, white widows and hash plants are doing really well. I've been super cropping them. first year doing it and I can say it is really turning these plants into thick bushes... I'll try to get some pics up this week.

Def let me know how it turns out man. I'm very hesitant to do it outdoors. I'd like to see how it goes for you.
