The Allergiest
    #568276 - 06/29/11 06:48 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

I have had severe allergies since I turned 18, and now theyre worse than ever. Im constantly congested and just feeling fuzzy. I just got back from the beach, where the salt water helped a tad. Im allergic to penicillin severely. Anyway, I have now broken out into a huge rash of hives all over my body for some reason we just cant determine. So my mom says shes taking me to the allergist. To that, I was just like :uhno: cause they stick 100+ needles in you that MIGHT have adverse reactions. Nooooo thanks. Ive heard that eating local honey can help allergies, and those Nani-pot things can be a big help. Im NOT GOING TO THE ALLERGIST!!!!! Any suggestions to help allergies? Ive pretty much grown immune to Claritan and medications like that.

I went to the allergist when I was young, I remember that it wasn't painful at all, if you react to the sting, it will be a little itch, less than a mosquito sting.

I totally think you should go see him, it might help you a lot, otherwise, you can always take some allergy pills like Reactine or one of the many others that all works 24h, but as you said, long term use will make it useless...

As a kid I had allergies so severe there was rarely a day I did not have a nose bleed or many of them. Allergy shots helped so much, it really is worth it. They do not stick 100 needles in you, they put a bunch of small drops of allergens on your arm and prick each spot lightly with a pin, hardly hurts at all.

I quit taking the shots last year and I was pretty good all summer but this year I have been having a bitch of a time, not nearly as bad as I used to be but I have just been getting bad 2-3 day episodes. Apparently there is increased pollen in North America this year or something, idk.

They don't inject you with anything, they section off your arm into squares and rub small swabs of different substances in the squares to see if it causes a skin irritation

Once they get it done and figured out though you never have to go through it again and you'll finally know and won't have to torture yourself...You'll need shots but I hear they aren't bad.

Try taking Vitamin C and Echinacea,
and make green tea that has honey and cinnamon.
Green tea is packed with antioxidants, one being
Epigallocatechin gallate which is an ester of
Gallocatechol, and Gallocatechol has a moderate
affinity to the human cannabinoid receptor.

:themoreyouknow:

Although it's possible to be allergic to Echinacea, but
it's known to help the immune system and may help you with
your allergies.

If you want a quick fix, try Loratadine or Diphenhydramine.

That can help. Also 300mg of DXM will really help with allergies.
I used to have em, but the DXM would literally make any sickness
I had go away as long as I was high on at least 300mg of it.
The only problem with DXM is that its harsh on the body. DXM isn't bad for your brain.
I've done it probably around 300 times in my life, and I can function fine.

Oh yeah, there are reports of people being allergic to DXM, so I would be wary of that.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.
