This is some local mids I decided to grow not much yet but comin along. They are kinda of in the shade so I worry a little bout the sun but they seem not to mind to much. Also the square container only has abt 5" of soil but plenty of room to spread out length wise anyone see any problems with this?

I'd suggest getting bigger pots, only because roots grow faster than the plant. And if you have a lot of roots, your plant will grow bigger in size quicker. It all really depends on how big you want them to get.

id suggest just lugging out a big ass bag of soil or two and a shovel and just digging the plots out for them. as alienscience pointed out the more space the roots have the bigger the plants will get. gotta get a min of 3 ft deep for em though so the roots can just lax out through the soil. should get some monsters that way depending on your climate
otherwise it looks good. keep us posted bro.

What he said. Make sure plant them in plenty of potting soil first though; nutrient leak and bad natural soil conditions can hinder growth.

Yea get them in the ground for those plants to have the room they need you would have to put them in big ass barrels to keep them from becoming root bound. Nothing more secretive than a few huge ass containers with 7 foot plants coming out of them.
