July 8th 2011 update: I have a couple questions -If I veg another month will these sativa doms be to much to handle? I want a pretty big harvest but im afraid that my girls here will over-take my closet. Another question if i flower them now (APROX.) how much dry weight will I get?

shoulda just grabbed some predatory mites online. those things are fucking bad ass. they eat up all your spider mites and then cannibalize themselves after so your left completely pest free.

i looked at those predatory mites and saw a video of them actually attacking the spider mites pretty cool, if this spray doesn't work i might have to resort to that.

pests always suck man. luckily there are no spider mites where i live now. though they where a huge problem back on the west coast. only ran into them once or twice in my own garden though. its amazing how much damage something soo tiny can do eh?

I have a question, you see that on barney's farm it says Tangerine Dream is done after 70 days of flowering it has 15 days left til day 70 it just started pushing its long white hairs out of the calyxes weeks ago ([there has been no light leaks]). I've read other fourms where people who've grown TD had the same problem. I guess i have to wait til they decide to finish up, and who the hell knows when that will be?!

(Day 70 Flower) 9-20-11 Update: S&S is doing great she takes heavy feedings like a champ. TD is doing pretty good believe it or not she looks better in person than she does in the pics. (How long do you guys think I have till S&S is ready for harvest? she looks pretty close but i cant help to think she needs more time to swell up?)

Typical method for determining the appropriate harvest time is by looking at the color of the trichomes. The first stage is clear, then they get milky and finally, they turn amber. somewhere in that range is ideal. lookin' pretty good. can't wait to see the harvest pictures!

From what I've heard, flowering times are often underestimated by seed producers. I would only use them as a reference point of the minimum time needed to reach maturity.

I hear that! I can't believe barney's farm says a sativa dom strain would finish flowering in only 70 days that's pretty ridiculous
