Hey guys, so right now I have a few plants out in 5 gallon buckets. They are looking good, most on their 4th or 5th set, but i have run into some issues with bugs. They are eating away at some of my plants and some of the leafes are completely eaten. I need a way to stop this asap.
Any good natural ways to deter the bugs?
Ive heard of putting potato slices on the surface of the soil...
ive also heard of spraying with diluted dish detergent?
any other ideas?

If your plants growing well it should be naturally resistant. Pests only attack plants who are weak to start. High organic matter in the soil is probably technically the best natural pest and disease control

yeah, they are still small but they look like they will be fine even if the bugs continue to eat them. they are only about 2 foot tall tops.
so i'm going to try putting vinegar around the plants...potatoe slices only attracted more.
if the problems persist i will check out neem oil.

Neem Oil has so far been the most effective measure against insects that eat the leaf matter of the planet.
For bugs such as Fungus Gnats, using Diatomaceous Earth is easier.
