I'm pessimistic by nature, I deal in worst-case scenario's, but I can agree with you that IF we can create practically free and infinite energy, there would be a chance of a post-scarcity economy, if society had the correct priorities. I wouldn't count on this in my life time, I see my pessimistic view as more possible in the short-term however.

I just pulled a tarot card and got the ten of cups for what I'll be doing.
Funny enough I was saying this in my head while i was shuffling already thinking about making a post about the ten of cups.

So with the way we live our lives, we will really survive? Honesty I find our society atroshish, a disgrace to our nature. Anyone see the news lately? All we fucking do is kill eachother and destroy our environment. When was the last time someone actually took a breath of air that was not intoxicated with pollutants? If we are to stay on the path we are on why are we decreasing funding for schooling? To me this makes no fucking sense. Don't we want our people to have intellegence?
I find it very ignorant that someone would say this is the proper way to live our lives and the track we are on is best for our future and the human race. The government is their to guide us not control us. We the public have put them incontrol because we thought it was the right thing to do. If we went back to the time and told our founding fathers that they are going to be put in jail because they grow hemp and smoke cannabis, what do you think they would say? Probably the same as some said about landing on the moon or about we will be able tp pick something up and make a "call" across the world. Or be able to read 1000 page books on something as thin as a 20 page book.
We are the future. We have the control not the government. What would the governemnt do if we said "NO" no more war, no more telling us what we can and can't do!
I have 5 brothers and one sister. I am the youngest by 6 years from my sister as she is the second. All my brothers follow the republican views. I follow no one. All of them have served or are serving in the military. They all want me to join thr military. But as you can tell from this post I am not fit for it due to my mindset. I mean if all military personel decided "fuck you I'm done" and just dropped their guns and sat down, no one would be able to do anything. I know this sounds farfetched and all but honestly what is life really worth?
We all live our lives dy to day. We don't know our neighbours even. Sure small percent does but vast majorty does not. Why are laws in place? Ro keep is organized? To keep us under control? Why? We lived hundreds of years without them why can't we now?
I'm sure most of you won't read this but try and help our future of the human race. If we never speak up and say what we feel what will ever happen to us? More laws will be put in place and soon we will live a life as people live in prisons.
I heard on te radio this evening that law makers are trying to pass a law so people can spend FIVE fucking years in prison for posting lip sync videos on the net such as YouTube! Are you kidding me!!!!!

I do agree somewhat with the above statement. But I do not agree that it would be hard to change. Sure the first few years, maybe even 10 years, would be a total shock and be a big dofference than the life we live. But human nature is not a solo life style. Our body requires people and communities. We need eachotherbto survive.
I was born 1990 so I am fairly young as many of us(we always stay young deep down); my parents generation was the generation that fought back against war and wanted peace. I'm sure some of you were apart of that generation as well. I understand that that generation "grew up" and no longer desired to fight due to the nam/usa war ending. What has this current generation fought against? The legalizeation of weed but yet that movement is strictly only in USA based. People around the world fought for freedom and yet here we are, 6billion people being slaves while the half a million or so of people in politics get the way they want things!
What do we get?
Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to get into politics. Not because I want to be president or because I want to be wealthy(I've never had a desire to be wealthy) but because isaw the world through my own eyes. I saw it from a lifestyle that was based on sharing and money does not bring happiness. I wanted to become a politician because I saw our world as a curel environment to ourselves and to our very own planet. I wanted to change the way our lives in the current society lived and change it for the better. I always said If I got into politics I would never get bribed and become corrupt as almost all politicians are. I would listen to our public and hear their opinions and do everything in my power to settle all current issues. politicions were put in power to listen to the public and speak for the public. Today's world is no longer like that. Each politician has their own agenda an do not give a rats ass about the general public.
The time is now, to take action and change our world for the better of our own future and for our childrends future. We need all people in this world tp coMe
together as one. Forget the past. Look into the future! We've stood up to the government before why can't we now?
