Thanx but I'm not really interested in art shows and stuff. I do it mainly for myself and I dont mind sharing with a like-minded community such as this place. Glad you like it though

BTW I made a bunch of consecutive shots of the actual crystals forming either due to lateral growth or by crystalline nucleation so if anyone is interested I can send you the archive to turn them into a gif. I would've made a video but the resolution sucks and my hands are pretty shaky.

Hmmm I'm pretty sure you can build a simple polarising magnifier with some basic items. Do you have a spare calculator or some old game/whatever that has an LCD screen? That and a little lens..

the next time you decide to trip on acid here is what to do:
1. Get a broken electronic thingy with the LCD screen and tear it apart. Find the two screen plaques that go dark when crossed at 90degrees.
2. Put some crystals between the two crossed plaques. It should look like a sandwich with the crystals in the middle. Place a drop of water (or anything that refracts light) on top of the upper plaque.
3. Trip ballz while looking at it

Even easier would be to put piece of plastic wrap between the two polarizers.
You will see a trippy colour change as a function of the stress applied to the plastic sheet.
Or if you are really lazy then use your laptop screen as the first polarizer just put the calculator screen in front of your eyes till it gets dark and start playing with the plastic. Easy and trippy as fuck
