The news sucks.
I prefer to remain ignorant in most of the happenings in the US. It is infuriating most of the time and I have more important shit to take care of. Like school.

How is calculus being brainwashed?
If anything it opens your eyes to what is around you. Considering everything is defined by sets of functions and limits.

Public schools are a necessity. We do not want millions of dumb people walking around.
Sure public school does some brainwashing as you call it. Overall the greater good far outweighs the negatives.
Having a public that can read, write, calculate easy numbers, be sociable, and just learning about life is a good thing in my mind.

I agree humanities classes are overall a joke and biased.
Maths and sciences just explain the world that we live in.
