Before smoking the first bowl of the day. "I gotta get up and go pay the power bill."
After smoking the first bowl of the day "Fuckit I been meaning to use up that box of candles"

I feel like things are going too slow, and sometimes end up feeling out of touch with reality, like theres a glass pane in front of me. But thats not too often.

Its fine if I dont have to use my brain for numerical type problem solving. A bit hazy, I forget shit, get frustrated easily cause it doesnt work out, it takes me forever to do it.
Other than that it exerts its healthy beneficial effects on my brain. I feel the neuroprotective properties as it slows down my brain preventing the build of toxic metabolites etc.
I feel ridiculous that Im part of a society where alcohol is legal while weed is not. It doesn't make sense scientifically

appearntly there are...
Quote:
Reasons to quit weed:
*More energy *Clearer head *More stable dopamine levels leading to all round better mood stability *Increased confidence *Increased ego *Clearer lungs *More oxygen supply to body's cells increasing both aerobic and anaerobic capacity and improving bodily functions *Healthier heart/blood pressure levels *More stable hormone levels *Easier to maintain a healthy diet *Save money *More time to do more important things in life *Less risk of legal problems *Not supporting criminal organisations *Not ending up with that "pot head look" that becomes quite obvious after some time.
I smoked weed nearly every day for over 11 years and quitting it was one of the best things I've ever done. IMO weed is shit, a waste of life and money that will prevent you from reaching your full potential. Doesn't have any benefits apart from relieving boredom and providing instant gratification to your brain's reward system. Its "potentially" a highly addictive drug which often does more harm than good. Maybe if you've got a terminal illness or something, weed can be a great way to pass the days and relieve certain symptoms, but in many cases, opiates are far superior lol. But if you are a healthy person with plenty to live for, its a waste and its gonna hold you back.
Now not saying I didn't have my good times with weed and for those people that may just have a puff or two at a party or something, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But when it begins to become a habit and becomes a part of your identity and lifestyle, can that really be helping you in any way?
Don't get me wrong, not trying to judge as I have many close friends who still smoke weed and if that's what floats your boat, then its your life so go for it. I don't think I'm better than anyone else, just trying to point out the simple fact that weed DOES carry multiple health risks, has a reputation for ruining some people's lives and supports organized crime. It doesn't fuck everyone up but it does fuck up a lot of people.
But in the end you gotta ask yourself... Why? If you have your own reasons, then fair enough I respect that. But in reality, you're getting totally fixated on a silly little bit of plant matter IMO...
