I agree as well.. Thought I was the only one.
Now back on subject: Squirrels (I forgot what kind specifically) can sleep for up to 2 weeks at a time.

I've been training these squirrels with peanuts to come into my apartment and on the porch, but I learned that you shouldn't give them salted nuts because they'll get sick. Instead, feed them unsalted nuts that are still in the shell.
