i'd love to see dirk win one man. i think lebron will get one, probably more in his career, but dirk ain't gettin no younger. i'd really like to see him get one before he retires. same with jason kidd. he doesn't have any either does he?

I think the Heat have played a little better but yeah, it's been equally poor performances by both teams

Fucking Miami. Only upside is that the Mavs played a horrible game. I dont think I have seen Dirk play this poorly all playoffs. Game 2 is a must win for Dallas, imo.

yeah the mavs need to win this next game. i started watchin in the 3rd quarter cuz i was busy all night, but it just seemed like they couldn't score for shit in the 3rd, well part of it anyway. dwayne wade played awesome in the 4th though. the mavs need to tighten up and if they do, i think the series will be much more even.

You didnt miss much in the 1st half. I think both teams shot below 30% in the 1st half.
Dallas played really poorly, they are going to have to step it up. I dont like all the time off between games. Like after Thursdays game they dont play again til Sunday

Yeah, that was in the back of my mind too. Cuz Dallas was so fuckin hot and in rythym after that series with the Thunder. I bet if it started the day after or two days after or whatever, they would've won that first game. Oh well, it ain't over yet, we'll see. I'm not gonna say they have no chance or anything, but it would be in their best interest to win this 2nd game.

Damn, already giving up on the Mavs after 1 game?
I dont know how you can say they dont have the "gas," they shouldnt be tired at all. They are getting plenty of rest between games. If anything they dont have enough offense to win. When you look at their starting lineup, with the exception of Dirk, they have mostly defensive minded players. Kidd is a pass first, defender. Chandler is a defense first guy and same with Marion

Yeah, I agree, if Dirk doesnt have a 30+ point game next time out and doesnt shoot the ball well. Then the Mavs are fucked. He is their LeBron James and Chris Bosh all rolled into one.

What a game. I was ready to throw in the towel and was thinking just how horrible and outmatched the Mavericks were. But a combination of good defense, Dirk taking over, and Miami choking allowed one of the most amazing comebacks ive seen especially if it triggers a shift in momentum and Mavs end up winning the series.
Fuck LeBron and fuck the Heat. I still like Dwayne Wade though, ive never had a problem with him
