Thanks so much, I don't know how I never thought of this
If I leave it in the fridge, it'll last you say?

I used to just make a cup of boiling water and stir in a tablespoon at a time.

i use about 100ml of molasses at a time, that's like 6.6tbsp.
what i do is first fill a container with about 150ml of hot water, dump in molasses until the volume rises by 100ml, then stir for about 45sec. i don't like grabbing individual tablespoons out of a jar.
no mess that can't be cured by a good rinse.

I only use 1 gallon of water at a time, so 1tbsp. You guys have quite a bigger need for it than me
It absorbs into my gallon jug with a little bit of shaking, so I guess I'll just stick with that.

It feeds the microbal environment allowing nutrients to be absorbed more effectively.

Oh, ok. That was the first time I heard anything about it in all my research. Lol. Apparently, it's not a stardard, everybody-does-it technique(?)
Is it something I should be doing with an indoor grow? At what stage do you add it?
(Sorry for potentially hijacking the thread.)

Are you organic? If so I add a dash every fertilzing. If chem don't bother.

The cannabis plant will not pick up or process herbal oils, lets put that to rest. Agreed you will save money on those flushing solutions. So let us all know what these solutions do. All their function is to realease the last of your leftover nutes by microbal action thats it! Done, no more sweetner or whatever people believe.

I didn't read too much into it myself. I just saw a lot of people using it, and it was in my cupboard when I checked...so I just used it
In my experience, it makes your smoke taste infinitely better and adds a lot of stink to the plant.

I use chem nutes in a soiless mix and notice a large jump in the smell and taste when using molasses. I did one harvest without it and it for sure makes a noticeable improvment. And I don't even let the chlorine evap from my water due to laziness/busy schedule so I'm definitely not getting the microbial benefits from it. I do plan on switching to RO water soon so hopefully my plants rate of nutrient absorption rises in the near future.
that and I love how it smells like brown sugar after I water my plants

Yes but from my experience only in soil, it will clog you up in hydro.
I've tried using it only in flowering, and also from the first week of vegetation, and I've found that using it from vegetation to flower gives more overall robust growth.
