 My sister is in the hospital...

She's fine, in no real danger, but she's been feeling sick for a long time.
She was hospitalized for 24 hours.
Her heart rate was 35 or 36 per minute.
She's vegan, which is a beautiful and healthy choice, but I guess she just hasn't been eating the right amount of non-dairy/meat proteins, fat, and calories.
Send her good vibes.
She'll be released tomorrow, everything is totally fine.
But now she's getting a bit of hell from our mother.

Yeah. Really the healthiest diets have been shown to be a well balanced mix of fish and greens, with lean meat and greens usually showing no disadvantage with a vegetarian lifestyle. I can understand not wanting to eat meet from the perspective that our slaughterhouses are atrocious but there are sources where you be be rest assured that the animal was killed humanly. But it really isn't the healthiest lifestyle.
Of course red meat is bad but there's nothing unhealthy about eating fish and lean meat such as poultry.

Look around for a local farmer's market in your area. Odds are there will be at least someone who has organically grown/raised animals that were treated and slaughtered in the most humane ways possible. That way she can get all of the "feel-good" hippie vibes of buying organic and none of the guilt from eating poorly treated animals.
