Hi, first time poster here (I've posted on the shroomery for awhile) and I had a few questions about some problems I've run into with my first plants.
I germed 6 each of green o matic and afghan kush ryder with my first sprouts emerging on april 1st, each in 2 gallon pots filled with uncut FFOF. Light was a 400w MH on a 24/0 cycle. Growth was good until about 13 days in when some plants started developing spots that look like what I've seen described as nute burn. Leaves have been twisting and ridges curling up but otherwise all the plants look relatively healthy except one that's severely stunted.
Temps have always been 74 or so with the MH to a steady 78 with the 1000w hps. Both lights were spaced 2 1/2 to 3 feet from the plants. Around day 17 I replaced the MH with the HPS and haven't seen any ill effects from that. Humidity is always about 35-45 without much fluctuation. I recently switched to 20/4 on day 17 with no recognizable change
Water's PH is around 6.3 and I've added no nutrients so far out of fear that I might burn the plants if it does turn out to be nute burn. Soil is around 5.7-6.5 PH
Here are some pics- Middle one is the smallest plant with odd coloring and the last two are of the biggest, healthiest plant, all are at 19 days.
Honestly I think more of the problem is coming from your lighting. I keep my plants under a little CFL light a lot of times until they are 6 inches tall...You might be burning them up.
Dolomite lime is a great additive and works very well.
How often do you water? They kind of look like a possible over water which can kinda mimic the symptom of deficiency.
Another way you can raise the soil pH is to water with a little higher ph every time and eventually is will raise(around 6.8 or so).

That would be my first question as well. Also, there is the lights. If I read this correctly, at some point you had them under 1400 watts? That is a lot, but I don't know if that is a cause. Last, I always use FFOF and my plant usually show signs of getting hungry at 14-21 days.
