Here's an acid poem: The sun and night, were both shown to me The question is which one are we I can claw at my mouth and food like an animal Or I can meditate until my heart and mind are filled Should I float to the bottom Or sink to the top Breath it in Or throw it on up

LSD is awesome. So blessed I got to try it. It's transformative, therapeutic, and super beautiful. It's intense and subtle. Mind blowing and gentle. It has many faces, or maybe we all have many faces, and LSD relieves them to us. Thank you Hoffman.
If you haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, I hope you will soon. I still have to write up my trip report and share it with you all.
To compare LSD to psilocybin mushrooms, I agree with most people that LSD is more gentle. Mushrooms seem to be more of an extreme, heavy, primitive, jungle, hallucinogenic experience. If mushrooms overwhelm your senses to the point until you break through into another dimension, LSD scrambles your senses until you break through. LSD scrambles your circuits until they hit each other, at which point you become more self aware. A path to a sort of holy meta-cognition.
While mushrooms and LSD can take you to the same place, they take different routes.

I'd love to smoke with you iStoner, but unfortunately Texas and Michigan are pretty far away.

Glad you had fun! I havent done it in years then got some good stuff but had a dark trip. Nothing scary just dark overtones. I prefer mescaline these days, mushrooms make me too emotional unless I eat alot then its fun.

ive felt apprehension toward lsd. But i know that once it's in me i will surrender to it completely. just the anticipation produces anxiety in me. so that was interesting to read a few of those comparisons you made there to mushrooms.

Some people resist the effects and throw themselves into a bad trip. that's usually not advisable.

The first time I took it, It totally just wiped my ass and then it floored me, I donno it depends on the person, since then Ive taken hundreds of doses maybe a thousand, and I am perma fried from it, its the bad or fake acid that really got me, that shit is scary as fuck...

I feel anticipation anxiety before I trip, the anticipation is worse if I haven't tripped in a long time. If I tripped recently, the anticipation anxiety isn't bad. But once the sacrament is ingested, the anxiety fades away.
