Im just wondering how long the growing season is in CA? What month do plants usually start flowering? I cant remember, I never really took note I guess. Im just groowing autoflowering plants, but I got a bunch of freebies and im wondering if I started some now, how long they will have to veg. I cant have them getting to tall Id like to finish them around 5 or 6 feet, but I dont want to waste time, id like to get them every bit of that height. How many months do you think theyll vegge before flowering? Im dealing with some kush strains, S.A.G.E and some indica's, like hash plant... Thanks a lot!!

I asked the same question refer to this: link
We have a nice long VEG. cycle here in CA that allows us to grow some monsters outdoors. Height can be avoided by topping or LST or plant later.

Well it depends on how photosensitive the plants you are growing. There is no exact answer you need to know at how many hours of darkness your plant needs for flower to trigger. Some equatorial sativas can go 6 months of 12/12 without flowering while some afghan's can flower with only 8-10 hours of darkness per day. Since you have a mixed variety that sounds like they maybe from seed you have a grab bag. If yours are clones that have been tested for photosensitivity and you know exactly how many hours of darkness triggers them you can check your light schedules for your lattitude.
